FreshCo has a good international foods aisle, including a some hard to find items such as Mrs Ball's Chutney from South Africa and a wide range of South Asian products. Veggies & meats have been fresh and good quality. Prices are generally competitive, with some above average and some below. Store hasn't seemed too busy, although my experience has been that they tend to quickly run out of their limited deals.
Came to get ingredients for Clamato and the cashier rung my order wrong and I paid $104 for what was only $30 worth of items. Not a big deal! Mistakes happen. I should have questioned the sum instead of paying right away! But what made me upset was that when I walked back into the store to inform a supervisor about the mistake, they asked the cashier who made the mistake about what happened, and she just stood there without defending me!!! They had to check the cameras to ensure I wasn’t stealing because she didn’t own up to her mistake! If you make a mistake you should say so and not make the person look like a thief. I got my money back so everything is fine, and I learnt a valuable lesson…. always check your receipt right when they hand it to you, and know how much your stuff costs before coming to the till.
This is a solid blue collar grocery. The prices and selection are good. Nothing fancy. They allow customers to utilize the cardboard produce boxes.nnI'm a regular
Its a good store, unfortunately there is a lot of crackheads who hangout near the location at night and make it pretty rough around the edges. Lots of theft and the staff have to deal with a lot of abuse from customers.. overall, you can't be the prices compared to other locations.
