I worked with Heather to make our wedding cake and it turned out beautifully. She knew that I wanted to use my grandparent's cake topper and worked with me to create a cake that was beautiful and highlighted the topper. Not to mention, it was DELICIOUS and fairly priced. Even my checkout experience was lovely working with the employees behind the coffee bar. Would highly recommend Fresh Start!
Great service, beverages, and food. Coffee and tea have been made quickly and correctly every time, and the staff is very friendly. The environment is cute and has local art in the back to browse while you enjoy your drink. But the real winner here is the scratch-made biscuit sandwiches. Holy moly the cheese and egg biscuit sandwich is GOOD. And not just “good for a quick bite” good . It’s “drive out of my way to get one of these biscuits” good.
Love love love! New to Delaware so finding a local coffee spot has been high on my priority list and I 100% have found it! Great coffee, pastries, and atmosphere. The people there were super friendly as well. Can't wait to go back and try more!
Obsessed with their classic bacon and egg breakfast sandwich! Def recommend getting it with the herb mayo! I also really enjoy their chai. The owner and staff are super sweet and kind.

Always a good experience at Fresh Start! Picked up one of their chocolate, two layer, six inch, round, valentine's day cakes with buttercream frosting pictured. Never been disappointed here and this was no exception, absolutely delicious! It's nice that they have on street parking in front of the store, but they also have a rear entrance that opens to the public parking lot behind the store.
Love this place! Staff is so friendly and helpful, drinks are always delicious, and treats are freshly made and sooooo good. I frequently went to study and the space is very accommodating for small groups and visitors. Would highly reccomend!! My go-to was an Iced Lavender Latte
Delicious coffee. I could even drink it black and it was not bitter. Wow. I could lose weight!!! Oh, then there are the pastries. They are rich and creamy. Worth every calorie. I had to taste them before I could serve them to me friends.
The pastries and other food is always really good and extremely fresh. Standard coffee drinks but they use Crimson Cup coffee, local from Columbus, and I love that. The earl grey tea they have is also really good. Has a nice sweetness to it. Oh and to top it off every time I go in the staff is extremely nice and patient with me.
Staff was super friendly and chatted with the costumers while they worked! 5/5, definitely going to come back here again! Quinn and Abbie are amazing!
