Story

Freddy Valentine's Public House is located in downtown Spring Green WI in the historic Spring Green State Bank, originally built in 1915. The restaurant opened August 2012. Freddy V's is a Gastro Pub with made from scratch menu with many items supplied by local farmers and suppliers. We will also have a large selection of local beers, wine and a full bar. A new bar was built repurposing the original marble teller wall and teller drawers were incorporated in to our new pub tables. FV's is a must see building, with the best food in Spring Green, great atmosphere and superior service. Freddy Valentine's Public House "Historic Building, Food and Cheer!"

We stopped in at lunch time on our way to the house on the rock. We wanted a quick bite, but didn't realize that the place was as upscale as it was. We were dressed casual, but were more than welcomed. The menu was excellent. There was one server working but she was excellent!! We didn't have to wait to order or for food or the bill. It was fairly busy, but she got to all the tables very efficiently. The menu was on the higher end, but the food is all organic and locally sourced. The menu described where all the meat came from!! I feel good about supporting local, so the higher price was worth paying!! The food was excellent!! Even the to go boxes were cardboard instead of styrofoam!! I recommend this place highly!! I wish it was closer to home. I'd go there often!! Please stop in and support this business that helps support the local economy!!

I Love Freddys. I have NEVER been disappointed! Excellent food, and great service. The wait can be a little longer, but we'll worth the wait!

Wonderful restaurant in a former bank. Brisket sandwich was super tender and moist. Fish and chips served with an awesome tartar sauce. Sweet potato fries with a side of aioli. Yummy! And a great nitro stout on tap!

Small town hidden treasure. Building is an old bank, cozy but beautiful. Offers many locally grown and organic options. Great atmosphere. Prices are good for as nice as it is.
