Finally! An upscale / non-college bar in Kent! They have all of your classic cocktails, but also several signature drinks. I had this floral/fruity martini called the Fleur De Lis, and it was super good. They also have herby and spicy type of drinks too which I want to try, like the spicy pineapple margarita. Also, we were celebrating the birthday of one of our friends, and they brought out a free cheesecake! It was incredible. Long story short, we had one of the best nights out at this bar. We will definitely be going back!

Update: Correction to an earlier review that I posted for the wrong venue! Apologies to the Franklin and its management. One of the newest hidden gems to emerge out of the continuing revival of downtown Kent, Ohio. Intimate, brick-walled space beneath the historic be Franklin Hotel, itself recently restored. Unique, romantic traditional bar serving cocktails and liquor, with a small but solid selection of wines and craft beers. Great sharing menu of upscale snacks, cool lighting, cozy booths. You'll forget you're in Kent, Ohio. At its best when there's a live old school jazz trio playing -- you almost expect to see a few classic movie stars noodling in a corner. Go there. You'll like it.

Great atmosphere and the crowd went from the 20's and up. Cool menu and the food is eclectic but very good. Great drinks and a large beer selection. We have been there several times and the staff is great and it's a fun place.

Absolute best way to get away from the college bars in town. Rachel and Alyssa are our favorite bartenders in Kent! The food is all made from scratch and is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the smoked cheesecake! Really cool atmosphere and very low-key, a great place to relax. There aren't TVs so you can actually have a conversation. They are made from scratch mixed drinks as well. They definitely make sure they are serving the highest quality drink. We love this bar and will continue to stop by every two weeks as usual!

This place is Awesome! Great Food Great Drinks in a beautiful space. This is pretty much my go to spot when I'm in town! Love the small plates so I can have a little bit of everything usually order 4 for my wife and I to share and leave full sometimes with some leftovers
