I recently moved to the neighbourhood and needed a dress altered hemmed, shoulders taken in, and a clasp added. The fabric was tricky but Frank knew exactly what to do. Frank is an outstanding human being! I was in an urgent rush to get pants tailored for my grandfather’s funeral that was happening 1 hour later a lot of other things to prepare for as you can imagine that I only realized the suit conundrum the previous night. I called Frank morning of, came in half hour later and he hemmed my pants on the spot. To me it really meant a lot. Thanks to Frank, I was able to accompany my grandfather on his final journey from earth wearing a nice suit. My grandfather liked to dress up for any occasion so it was my final tribute to him. During my short time there, Frank and I talked about a lot of things from his life and mine. I will try to use his services as much as possible from now on.

Frank's great, I'm never in a rush to get things done but he's still exceptionally fast, prices are fair, and he doesn't judge or change what you want done. A hem came loose once and he fixed it infront of my eyes for no charge.

A wonderful family business of dry cleaning and custom tailor, Frank has been in the neighbourhood for over 50 years, and knows the history of the entire Dovercourt area. His shop is beautiful; full of character, with interesting artefacts adorning the entire shop. Check out his Christmas decorations around the holidays. Prices are very very reasonable.
