We are very reassured by the Foyer Richelieu team of very caring, and attentive professionals. They offer our family Peace of Mind with the day to day care that they provide our mom in both French and English, which is also a nice bonus. Mom is always sharing her experiences with us, about how wonderful every staff member is with her, which makes us feel better about her being at this great residence!!! Foyer Richelieu is a caring and loving nursing home. My mother was in the home for only a short time but during that time they were compassionate and caring. The staff is very dedicated and understanding even though covid had greatly complicated their daily routines. We were lucky to have gotten my mother into such a wonderful french speaking nursing home since this was her primary language.
My grandmother lived and died here and was treated with such wonderful care from the staff! I was touched by the attention placed on honouring residents when they pass away, including a special ceremony when the body is removed from the home, and an annual ceremony to honour all who passed over the course of that year.nnThe home itself is beautiful, has a lovely outdoor area, a chapel, a roomy cafe area for entertaining friends and family, activities and outings for residents, and is a lovely homelike environment for those needing extended care.nnMy grandmother loved the caring bilingual staff as her own dear friends and passed away in the arms of her favourite nurse. If your francophone loved one needs a senior's home, this is great one for sure!!
Better for job opportunities and old people care
It's a beautiful trail to take when your in a 4x4 vehicle. The view is beautiful.
