Oh man what a great theater. Prices are very good. Affordable, and really fun. Brought 4 kids 12 and under and myself. The front lady helped get us seated. Was patient. Can book parties for movies here. The last up front was super nice. Was easy to find. Wheel chair accessible for those in need. Interact tap available. Candy prices are fair and same with pop and popcorn. It'll be my go to for pass and Pincher area. Thanks theater people. Keep up the excellent job. Up to date movies here. Like sonic 2 just came out and we got to see it. Open Sundays to so that was great. I do shift work so it made it easier then going to the city for movies.
Went to see Top Gun Maverick. It was awesome on the big screen. Nicely remodeled theater with lots if room in the seats. At 6'2" I could stretch out and not touch the seat in front of me.
I sure in joyed myself watching the movies back in 91 through 2007 and still will be if the price was lower for. I’m on a low income now I find the price is low to high. I’m sorry to say.
Loving the new seats! Awesome movie choices! Friendly, helpful staff! Great popcorn and snacks! Big time fan! xoxo
Old Skool decor with new digital presentation. The best of both worlds! Love our little theatre. Newly added seats are so wonderful. Comfortable and much more spaced out.
This theatre I have be going to over 30 years. Every time I have ever gone , I have gotten warm reception, enthusiastic people who enjoy what they do. The theatres have been upgraded over the years and look great. Those expecting stuffy city theatres , this is is honestly one of the nicest rural theatres in southern Alberta . The people are great and deserve good customers who go for the love of movies. Good job ! Avid fox fan.
These reviews are laughable... Come-on people, what about supporting a little community theatre? First of all, the Fox Theatre has been around for decades. I have gone many times to see movies. Typically I only see a few customers. Still the Fox theatre underwent a digital upgrade which was very expensive. The sound and picture quality is excellent. The seating is fine. They employ local kids who do a very good job. Thank you Jill and Edith for giving the Town of Pincher Creek such a wonderful little theatre.
Nice clean theatres. Very good sound. Chairs comfortable. Popcorn was delicious! Prices better than big city. Excellent location on main Street. Fun evening out!
Been here a few times. They recently upgraded to digital. They should have upgraded everything. They only accept cash at both the ticket sales and the concession. They're seats are quite uncomfortable and don't line up with the screen very well. My husband and I went to see Iron Man 3. For you movie buffs who know about Marvel's scenes at the end of the credits, you would have thrown a fit. They don't run the credits. They shut them off before they have even passed who all the actors are. And after inquiring about that, the lady said there wasn't a scene and she could do what she wanted. Definitely won't be returning. I'd rather pay the extra $5 and get my money's worth.
This old gem can still catch your eye. The Fox theatre is a very old style cinema. Being in a town with a population under 4000 somewhat limits the traffic potential of such an establishment. Don't expect a Cineplex Odeon, or a Famous Players to open up here anytime soon. That being said, we are incredibly fortunate as a community to have a multi-screen theatre at all. The owners have also invested heavily to ensure it is as modern as possible, and usually at a high expense. The result is a fully digital high resolution RealD 3D theatre with 2 screens that is open 7 nights a week with afternoon showtimes on weekends and holidays at fantastic prices when compared to what you pay at a metropolitan location. The concession offerings are good as well if not a little limited in selection. Overall I don't think we could realistically ask for better here in Pincher Creek.
