Fox Burger

This is an off the path burger place it’s located in Highlands area. Upon entry you are greeted by a charming 1910 renovated building. Ambience is nice, nice touch of history and modern taste. We had Brussels Spouts and they were amazing - crunchy, flavourful and nice portion size. We had Bacon Smash and Highlands Green burgers. Hands down one of the best burgers we ever had. When you take a bite you can feel every ingredient meat, veggies, sauce, bun. And to top it off friendly staff provides a great service. This is a gem of a place.

Small menu, but that's OK. They do what they do best. Burgers were awesome, but. O one everentikns how good the fries are. Amazing garlic fries. Great rotating beers on tap. All craft and/or local brews. Do yourself the favour, conquer the steps and walk up the 5 flights to the rooftop. The patio is great and gives a better atmosphere Vegetarian options: Not that I would, but I heard other swap AB beef for a .....Ugg....veg patty.

If I could, I would give a 3.5 but that isn't allowed. Visited here for the first time tonight with some teammates. Easy to find the place and lots of parking on the surrounding streets. Limited seating but we managed to time our arrival just right, only had to wait 10 minutes. They offer some Canadian alcoholic beverages, which are in the fridge to the right of the door. Ordered an Animal Smash but I was served a Bacon Pepper Smash. Was still tasty and they discounted my meal which was very nice. The parmasean fries were tasty but mine weren't as flavorful as others at the table. I understand that the food is all fresh, never frozen and made to order. At $18 for a burger and fries I would pass on going back as I was still hungry after. But the food was good, service was nice and the atmosphere was fun.

It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Highlands neighbourhood and we were delighted to find this roof top patio. The price for drinks is a little steep but the burgers and the ambiance are worth it. Highly recommend the garlic fries. Make sure you reserve a table it can get busy when the weather is nice.

Fox Burgers is my local go-to for a classic combo like a burger and fries. More-so I like ordering a burger when they have the weekly feature. You’re looking at like 20 bucks for a great burger and fries. My favourite thing to do is order takeout, get a beer and go sit in the nearby park. It’s a vibe. I always order the Animal fries, I dunno why they’re called that, but it’s sure tasty.

I’ve long been searching for what my taste buds refer to as “the best burger in town”. Well, I found it. While some of the other places have an ingredient list longer than a CVS receipt to hide a patty drier than an Alberta summer, Fox Burger keeps it simpler, but amazingly delicious. The patty for one is juicy. There may be plenty of preferences out there, but if you’re a true burger lover, you want a juicy and flavourful patty. Combine that with some fresh ingredients and a melt-in-your-mouth sesame seed bun: MMM, that’s a tasty burger! Let’s not forget the fries. The garlic fries complement any burger on the menu so well, you’ll be slapping your partner’s hand away repeatedly, as you try to finish every single one off your plate. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Just make the trip out and have one of their burgers already!

I LOOOVE Fox Burger. During the summer I was having the mushroom swiss burger and/or garlic fries with extra truffle mayo of course from the food truck, almost weekly. I love the ladies that work here - I always have great, friendly and upbeat service. I finally went to the actual restaurant and was very excited but I must say the food truck burgers almost taste better even if it’s the same thing. Love the location though and the building has so much history. Can’t wait to come back in summer and enjoy the patio.

Tasty!!! I could’ve used more sauce on my burger because if they kept it longer on the grill it would have become dry! I definitely would recommend a second patty! I got the bacon pepper smash with garlic fries. And our table got the spinach and artichoke dip-it was ok lots of chips not enough dip. Overall, i would come back here again. Parking may be an issue for some but my party came for dinner just before 6 so street parking out front was allowed. I would recommend a reservation as the place is cozy and during the winter months its probably not nice to wait outside.

Delicious cozy little burger joint. Highly recommend the window seat. Service was quick, food was absolutely delicious. Pretty pricy for a burger combo, but everything needs to be pricy now to keep these places afloat. Really great lunch experience.Food: 5/5

Awesome place to grab a burger and a beer or another beverage with a great rooftop patio. Probably best to make a reservation if you want to dine inside as it's a busy place. We dined on the rooftop be prepared to walk up all the stairs from ground level to the roof on the 4th floor and enjoyed the views. They have patio umbrellas and patio heaters depending on the weather and there was an unobstructed view of the sunset from high above the other rooftops. Fox Burger has both beef and a veggie patty options, which were both tasty, and the garlic fries lived up to their name and were indeed, very garlicky. We will be back for another delicious meal and to enjoy the chill atmosphere.
