Nice bake shop with a great assortment. Looks like they also do fancy cakes. I had the tiger brownie and the eclair was excellent.
Where do I begin with how amazing this Bakery is? Fortuna Bakery created our wedding cake and it was everything we DREAMED and more. As a couple who loves a good cake, we KNEW what we wanted in our cake for our big day. Lusia made it so easy to sit down, talk wedding cake, samples and price, without pressure. We ended up going with a display cake with a real section for cutting cake photos and a sheet cake. Vanilla sponge with raspberry mouse, lemon curd and vanilla buttercream. IT WAS AMAZING. Boy did the team at Fortuna Bakery DELIVER! They actually delivered our wedding cakes. The cake was a huge hit and was devoured by everyone. The bakery itself has many very tasty treats inside and friendly smiles. It is now our Go To bakery for any of our sweet tooth needs.
If you have never come to this place, you'll losing. They have an amazing collection of cakes, desserts, and all sort of sweet delicious pastries. The coffee is also so good. Very recommended and I will keep coming more for sure.
I totally love the chocolate chip cookies it's the only cookies I buy now ever since I found out it's so cheap to buy. It's always so good I crave it all the time. one day I will buy a good cake.
Cakes and candies are good, lots of options on deli spot, fresh produce and dairy. Is a clean and organized Bakery, worth prices and friendly service.
The one and only location in North Burnaby for true, perfect Portuguese buns. The selection of breads are varied and delicious as are the sweet pastries, cookies and cakes. They also have a small deli section that has just the right meats and cheeses to make it a one stop shop. There are also fresh roasted whole chickens available periodically for that quick lunch/dinner when you're in a pinch. Highly recommended!!
Hats off to Lonn the Cake Artist at Fortuna! She created this beautiful and delicious! watermelon themed cake and cupcakes for a family reunion we had earlier in August. Just amazingly talented! Thank you!
If I could give a dozen stars I would. I needed a cake for a last minute birthday party. I live in Oliver, BC and needed it for a friend in their area. They pulled it off! Not only were they SUPER kind on the phone but they stayed open past closing time because the person picking up the cake thought they closed at 5 instead of 4. This bakery has won my respect and I will forever order all cakes through them! All of my long distance cake bombings will go through them! The cake was also HUGE! It would have fed twice as many people as were there. For $58 I was in awe! BEST PLACE EVER!
Bakery was clean and staff were friendly. I found it pretty cool that this place also has a deli with Italian goods. Things such as meats, dried pasta, pasta sauce, biscuits and even espresso. I purchased 5 items from their bakery cabinet. I haven't had all of them yet but so far so good. Overall I had a good experience here today
This is a great bakery stocking lots of sweet treats and bread loaves. I tried a blueberry scone and almond birdnest cookie. The scone was light in texture but rich in flavour and the cookie had a delicious melty texture. Neither was overly sweet and both tasted fresh even though I didn't eat them the day of. The person working was really nice and seemed eager to help.
