It's a place where i would go again thats for sure, The Staff is Great and if there're any issues the staff is on it.
Not a bad place to stop for a night. Staff are friendly, but it's a very cramped campground. Narrow roads to get in, and gps couldn't find river road! Kept wanting us to park and walk in!
We had a lovely stay at Fort Lions Campground. Dave and Brenda were super accommodating to us and our last minute booking answering the phone past 8pm after an issue with another camp ground.nWe had a lovely hot shower, that were, stocked and clean. They were locked which prevented non guests from using them. We simply gave a $10 deposit to retrieve the key and once the key was returned at check out we received our money back. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended our stay by another day.nThe camp ground was lovely and quiet considering its proximity to the town, so quiet we were able to hear the local wildlife. It was also tidy and well kept.nDave and Brenda were so lovely and accommodating, especially compared to staff at other campgrounds when we phoned.
The woman I spoke to on the phone was very rude and had a disrespectful attitude. Will not be staying here after how off putting she was. Yikes!
Do not stay here at the campground she's a money-hungry gaudy looking woman who thinks she rules the world she was nothing but ignorant and with that attitude she will not have any campers going in there I have written to the Fort Lyons owner and left a nice message for him about her bad behavior her rude rudeness towards indigenous people and her greediness for money
