Foodland - Sydney Mines

Dropped into Foodland in Sydney Mines. Not one of my regular shopping spots but i did notice that some of their prices are cheaper than Sobeys. I think i will be dropping in more often..in fact they have some great specials.

I’m not sure why, but they followed me around the owners. I was told by the cashier, who is a gem, that it’s probably bc they didn’t see me before! Not acceptable! I will continue to shop at my local Walmart for my groceries!

Sometimes the forgotten grocery store when you have so many options in Sydney. Check out the flyer and make the drive. You will score a deal!

Nice clean small town store. Prices are better than the big chains. Lots of specials. I like that. Meat is ok but specials only.

Not really a fan. The produce section is tiny and sometimes it doesn't have great quality. The baby items aren't well stocked, like I couldn't find any pull-ups. The meat department is pretty good and often has nice sales. The deli has quick food to grab too. There are only a few checkouts, but the wait times aren't too bad.

Good service a little overpriced but what isn't these days not a big selection but also not a big store either so good for what they are working with

Moderately good prices at times, but not enough selection of healthy foods at reasonable prices.
