Very clean store and friendly staff. Good variety of food/non-food products and farm supplies. Prices are expensive but a good amount of items are reasonably priced and not worth going to Sudbury for a better deal. They're mostly fairly well stocked and have pretty good sales.
Ok place to shop.. except for their no returns on Sundays rule...due to not having a manager on duty
Great selection of fresh produce and all other grocery needs
Great country store, they have big variety of foods and drinks..
Got everything you need ....but your up north so....kinda pricy feel bad for the locals
Whole Foods prices in a Bargain Basement setting. Staff is good except for one lady who is always rude. Threatened to close the till because I was waiting while she was having a conversation about a tv show instead of working her till, thought I rolled my eyes, but was looking at the time. The prices here are far higher than a half hour drive into town, so we have pretty much stopped shopping here. There are a lot of elderly in this town, and they are being priced out of eating by the decisions at this store. The freezers don't seem to work correctly, as half the time I need to bring back frozen food, as it has thawed and re-frozen. This is usually met with confusion, and derisiveness from the staff. The floors are almost always sticky, and they are very very slow at removing out of date items, so look very closely, or you will be making a return trip to return that as well. Bottom line, the cost in fuel to go to Sturgeon, or Sudbury for your groceries, is completely worth it when you weigh the overpriced food, dirty floors, and having to return groceries every 3 or 4 trips. Gas is cheaper out of this town anyway, so you will actually save money. Dropped down to 1 star, they have bumped up almost all pricing by two to three dollars, price gouging during an epidemic, great look Vince, keep up the filthy tactics.
Did a job for them. Great people.
Vegetables weren't very fresh and the meat cuts are terrible. Cashier was very nice and personable.
Love the food and the service..not just because it's the closest grocery store to the cottage. They are actually really good with their meat, fruit and vegetables and everyone is ready to help if needed
