Not sure if I came on an off day but it was a real sad example of what it used to be .. shelves with nothing on them freezers not working .. really disappointing for something I was looking forward to visiting to Montreal. They had barely any Greek products that they used to have
We found what we were looking for! We travelled from NB to visit the Hellenic Community in Laval and buy Hellenic products. We found a great variety of Hellenic pasta, dips and pastes especially the roasted pepper and feta by Makedoniki, Hellenic Honey from Fir, desserts and of course Hellenic cheeses which is a great delicacy and we can't find it here in NB! We also met Mrs. Mourelatos, super friendly and helpful, and of course the cashiers who were also friendly and smiling!
I used to go shop more often but lately it's hasn't been the same, I think the stocks are lower and the bakery stuff has less variety, the Obrien location does a better job in my opinion.
Haven't been to this store for over a year. Was surprised at how dirty the floor was in the produce section. The floor was dirty and wet. There was also no produce in the section. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The shelves were missing product. I went there at 10:30 in the morning, the store opens at 8, therefore the shelves should have been full. Maybe , I just went at a bad time, but I'm not so sure I will be back because their prices are not that great in comparison to other grocery stores. They need to be more competitive.
Please don<trust their so calles specials: garbage not even for animals. Whatever they should throw out they put on sale. Amazing they<re still opened. DO NOT TRUST
Small family-style grocery store where you don't waste your time going through the aisles looking for an article. Friendly people. Great service and good food. I especially love the Greek feta cheese and olives.
The place when I first entered was not so clean. The floors were wet and slippery. The lady behind the cheese counter was not in the mood to serve. And most of the fridges were empty because it's broken. And most of the shelves were almost empty.
It's part of the neighborhood. Has lost a lot of customers to competitor but is still viable as a grocer fulfilling the needs of the locals. I unfortunately, a long with other customers, were disappointed with the delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables as the truck arrived in the early afternoon and was sitting in the back waiting to be unloaded. I left to go elsewhere. Management should address these lapses in proper early delivery as it won't go over well with the loyal customer base. Good luck !
Super packed with items and the actual shopping space is super small! Selection is good and staff are somewhat friendly. I would suggest going for specific items as opposed to general shopping, especially during COVID-19. You cannot social distance in this store at all, so wear a high level mask such as PF94, N95, or KN95, or double mask with a surgical mask and something else for better protection in this store.
Convenient location, lots of quality items to choose from. My mom favorite place to shop. She likes the weekly sales. Just need to keep the vegetable and fruit area looking cleaner and more neat. Love the delivery service!!
