Cashier was very friendly. Store seemed well stocked. Washroom wasn't the best but glad they had one.

I was walking around Foodland In haliburton when i found trash around the establishment, I informed an employee and he snakily said to me “I ain’t want this apple sauce.”. I do not want to be spoken to like this, have some respect for the people giving you money. Luckily, this nice young boy an employee stood up for me against this grumpy employee. Not a pleasant experience.

I was in the area visiting in Gooderham and stopped in for some groceries25min drive. While using self-checkout a staff memberpictured miraculously swooped in without even saying a word and obnoxiously stood directly over us while side eyeing frequently for our entire purchase.  The other 2 customers using the 2nd self-checkout over from us  who were there BEFORE us for some reason weren't worthy of someone standing right over them being watched like a hawk!  Couldn't help but feel targeted because it seems this store thinks only Black people are capable of stealing!!!   **Now I am not one to use the race card but I will when warranted. The next day I had to return to town for additional  items but I drove 5min past Foodland to the other side of town  and visited Todd's Independent Grover a PC brand and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. The staff there came right out and were extremely helpful, welcoming, and didn't make it seem like a bunch of criminals walked in the store**

Small selections of prepared foods however clean store and polite staff

Market looks new, clean and seem like a popular place to shop for groceries. Prices are a bit more expensive compare to the city.

I would highly recommend this food land. The store always has the best inventory.

I usually have a good experience when I visit Foodland in Haliburton but one cashier there is very rude. Named Marcia. Avoid her till at all costs unless you enjoy getting yelled at by a cashier. I work in a store a d would be fired on the spot if o spoke to customers the way she does.

I was extremely surprised with the lack of service with this location. It started off by almost getting hit in the parking lot by a vehicle that was being driven by an employee with 2 other employees in the car. Even though the car window was down not a sorry or anything instead he gave us the dirtiest look as if we were in the wrong. Our shopping experience in the store was just as memorable. I was going down an aisle looking for a certain product and two employees were standing there stocking shelves overheard me and said nothing. Going down another aisle there was a female worker stocking water, her cart took up the entire aisle and she didn't bother to move the cart over to the one side so we could sneak by. Instead she continued to stock shelves. I'm a cottage owner and will not be back again to shop at this store instead I'll be shopping at the independent Grocer.
