Foodie Bait

Let my $20 mistake be the last. This is pure "bait" with the promise of good, healthy food - it's not. It's an advertising trap. Restaurant did not appear clean and food in display cases ie: veggies did not look adequately refrigerated. The customer trash can was an old dirty repurposed food bucket. It must have been 25-30C inside the store. Meals were poorly described and did not match what was ordered - the shawarma chicken bowl was chicken and saffron rice? No standard toppings or sauces mayo based - again, not refrigerated. The meals were prepared in the back which was visibly dirty and they were heated beyond eating temperature via a reheat process of some sort. The chicken was clearly unwrapped from a frozen pack and was identical for the buffalo chicken and shawarma. We left thinking "food poisoning" after the first few cautious bites - we ended up eating elsewhere since flavour and prep scared us away from finishing the ordered meals.

Was excited about the concept. The first time I ordered minced beef over spinach in a bowl, after waiting 30 minutes the lady gave me minced beef over rice. I then waited another 20 minutes while she remade the order. So I decided to wait a bit before ordering again, putting my experience down to opening challenges. When I brought this mistake to her attention she got a bowl of spinach and started picking the minced beef off the rice. Of course there was rice mixed in with the beef and I told her I couldn't eat it. Her response... what was the problem it was good for me! When she started arguing with me saying I had asked for rice I knew it was time to leave. I would never have asked for rice or noodles as I can't eat either. I think it's sad that an uninterested employee can have such an impact on a great idea. Unfortunately I won't be able to go back. How can I trust food prep in the kitchen when front of house has no idea about food allergies and is not customer focused.

Ordered first time tonight when I found their menu in my mailbox...NEVER AGAIN! They claim their food is fresh but it's a lie. Fries have been reheated and their fish are clearly not worth $10.00. Whoever cooked the fish overcooked it and is now rubbery. Save your money and your time ordering from here. Disgusting.

I had the wings here and they were really delicious. They have a great selection of unquie sauces to try. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have the Georgian Peach when I went. They have a massive menu, that is all over the place, so it's good if you can't decide what you want. Good little joint ***1/2

This place is all about the chicken wings. The quality is outstanding. I know my wings well and I can tell you that the sauces, they way they are cooked, and the size of the wings is simply top notch. I don't know what all these other reviewers are complaining about. The food quality, especially the wings cannot be beat!

Terrible, chicken shwarma bowl had hardly any chicken and it wasnt any good anyway. The toppings were just low budget out of a can or jar. Any run of the mill shwarma place is better. Jalapeno poppers terrible as well, microwaved. Place will be under in no time. Low end.

The wings are terrible, non-cut, terrible sauce, not cooked properly. The only reason that I left 2 stars is because the lady that delivered them was a sweetheart. Pure garbage, uncooked wings. The speed of service was great but the food is FOODIE-HORRIBLE.

Ordered their shawarma through skip the dishes one day for lunch , best shawarma I have ever had , the toppings that you are able to get are fenominial . Can't wait to go back ! Might just drive all the way from my house in Caledonia one day

Great wings . Cooked perfectly with many choices of sauces and spices. I always get my wings from there and I am always happy with the delicious wings .. not cheap, but they are large sized wings that are cooked right.

Ordered from skip the dishes. Wrap was made wrong. They forgot an item They messed up what went on the wrap. The tiki masala kabob had no sauce or seasoning of any kind
