A hidden gem in the Rainier Valley area that was often overlooked because it's at the corner. Foods are fresh and cooked in Hongkongnese style. We ordered the fish maw soup, stir fried lotus roots, and X.O. clams. This was our second dine in. In our first visit, we got the steamed fresh fish, and it was delicious. The servers are always friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back to try out other dishes as well.
The food is good with ok service. Like most Asian dim sum restaurants in Seattle they could be a little slow. The price is extremely affordable and there isn't a wait like the overly congested venues in Chinatown. Order the salted egg buns!
The worst Chinese food I've had. Ordered vegetable Chow Mein, it was just dry noodles with soy sauce, the tofu mix vegetables was so oily it was un eat able, the tofu was rotten ND had been re fried several times. I've never had food .ake me so sick within the same two hours of eating it.
Felt hungry at 8:50pm and despite them closing at 9pm, they were able to accommodate our order and get the food out hot and ready within 10 minutes! We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Chinese Broccoli, Wonton Soup, and Crispy Noodles. They were all solid, except the wonton soup was below average. Would recommend pairing an extra bowl of rice to-go with the Kung Pao chicken. We hesitated to order from here because of the reviews on Yelp but honestly not bad! After my monther-in-laws doctor’s appointment, we decided to go to this restaurant just to try their dim sum. A big regret that we went to this place because they push you to get a dim sum that you dont like. If you say no, they’ll say we have to try it. Another thing was, they take their tip automatically, $20 per person and there were 5 of us. So instead of paying $80 for our food, we end up paying almost $200. Good thing we did not leave any tips in the table. Never ever going to this place anymore. Even if they are the last choice, still won’t go.
Oder to go ,Dim sum was very good , 3 or 4 pieces shrimp in each shrimp rice roll ,sticky rice warp was fresh. The Lady very polite on the phone . Happy lunch
Love, love, love this service!! Top shelf. The soups were delicious and jasmine tea on tap. Kids and I just moved here to the neighborhood and this will definitely be one of our go to's!!!!!Food: 5/5
Yes, as a matter of fact, I will travel over an hour for Dim Sum; Foo Lam is always worth the ferry ride.
Had sole filet fried fish. Best fried fish experience in my life. I have had very good fish and chips. Check out this Ruby in the emerald city.
Quiet place at 3p.m. Orange chicken was spot on. Food came with broccoli & a small pot of tea. Great to wash the oil in your throat after eating this dish. Lol! Overall good experience. I did laugh a bit because as I was paying, a group of 5 shouted, "I need straws!" The Server yelled back, "Wait a few minutes. I'm going to help him pay first!" So yea. 5 experience for ME.
