ripoff bank ... i had left 200 bucks in an old checking account just for a rainy day and to keep the account open... they took 10 bucks a month calling it an inactivity fee until it was gone and then finally wrote me a letter telling me to put more in so they can take more from me... what a rip off ... Find a different bank

I've been a member at FdL credit union forever and opened a checking account with a debit card since I was 16. I'm now a senior in college and haven't used my debit card in 60 days therefore I was charged a $10 'inactive fee'. I'm sure it was somewhere in the small print when I signed on, but 6 years later with no fees with no warning email or anything it just showed up on my statement. Needless to say I cancelled my debit card. Usually they are very understandable.
