I really enjoyed the falafel. When watching them prepare them, they looked burnt and overcooked. Quite the contrary. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. I got the demi pita half sandwich and it was still pretty filling. They stuff it well with what looks like purple pickled cabbage. Not too strong of a taste which I prefer. I'd definitely have this place again. Really enjoyed the sandwich.
We stopped in for a late lunch/snack after spending the afternoon exploring the Mile End neighborhood and we were incredibly happy that we did. The falafel sandwiches are amazing! In fact, it was one of the best falafel sandwiches I've had in a long time. Prices are great and there's some seating in a simple but fun space. If I lived in Montreal I would eat here all of the time. It was that good!
Their falafel is just excellent, a must try! I got the demi pita with spicy sauce. The falafel was beautifully crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful inside. Pita is fluffy, the cabbage cucumber filling adds freshness to every bite and the spicy sauce has a lovely kick to it. It gets messy, thanks to their generous portion of sauce, so just grab some napkins and get at it. They have a hand wash station right in the middle of the place, which is convenient. The place is very unassuming, but service is fast and pleasant. For the price, quality and quantity, this was more than worth it!
Their falafel is really excellent. Recommend you plan to stay and eat it straight away. It’s certainly saucy enough that you’ll need multiple napkins. Great they have a hand wash station right in the eating area to clean up. The eggplant in the sabich is lovely, but it is the falafel that calls my name.
I ordered a falafel salad, portion was very big, fresh and delicious! Falafel melts in your mouth, so good! My husband had the falafel pita, i was stuffed, so full. Was happy to see half pita option on the menu, perfect for a child or a smaller appetite. Definitely recommend this place.
Heard alot about this place so I decided to try it. The falafel pita is no joke. The pita might be priced a little bit more expensive than other falafel places but wow, it is so filling and packed with so much goodness. They stuff ALOT of falafel balls inside! With the mix of cucumbers, cabbage and the sauce, even my meat loving husband loved this falafel wrap! Definitely a must try!
I grew up on falafels, honestly the best ones I've ever had. So filling and great prices. Full of flavor. The zahtar fries are devine too. My ND bros introduced me to this spot.
The quality of the food is amazing! Nothing is bland, everything is fresh even when delivered!. The pita bread is crispy on the outside and super soft and warm on the inside. The hummus is spiced to perfection not too bitter, not too sweet; it's very light and creamy. The falafel are light and crispy. The sizes are very generous for very affordable prices. Like the fries equals to the amount you would have in a small poutine. Speaking of fries, the zataar spices were delicious! Great place!
Best falafel in Montreal! Their falafel has the perfect crisp on the outside with the inside being soft and not dry at all! I got the half sized falafel pita and zaatar fries which was plentyyy of food, very generous portions and low prices! Zaatar fries were great, loved the hummus and the falafel was delicious. Definitely one of my go to lunch places in the Mile End! Staff are also great :
Great price and delicious falafel even offer half a Pita if you don’t feel that hungry! Definitely worth a visit 7.5$ for half Awesome Thanks
