"Flying C Ranch is not a real "working" ranch, but is a tremendous place to stop when traveling through the vast expanse of New Mexico. This store is located on Interstate 40 Exit 234, a long way from "civilization". It is about 70 miles east of Albuquerque and 40 miles west of Santa Rosa. Flying C Ranch has the normal huge selection of merchandise that is offered at all our Bowlin Stores, but this store has a better than average selection of T-shirts, bajas, Indian and Mexican made blankets. Fuel is available along with 24 hr. pay at the pump service. If you are in the need of Diesel Fuel, you've come to the right place!"

One of those interstate stores that advertise for 50 miles that you have to stop because they have every gift for everyone you need a gift for. It was fun to stop and browse. The rest rooms were clean and the employees were very friendly. There was ample parking for all types of rigs.
Billboards galore all the way down the interstate really encapsulated us, so we stopped! Oh my goodness, what a great store. They have everything gift related you can think of, fireworks galore, lovely staff, the place is huge. Also, the gas pumps out liquid quick! I HAD to buy a lovely sage smudge stick for $11.99 - what a steal!!!!!!
This place is AWESOME. They have SO MUCH to choose from. They have SO MANY items I didn't even know were available or even existed. Bring a few hundred $$$. Not because it's expensive. Because you'll kick yourself in the *#@* for not having enough to get ALL that you'll want to leave with. Ask for the Crazy Cajun when you get there. She'll take good care of you.
Good place to stop for authentic Mexican and native American decorations and clothing. Semi truck parking available.
This place is great! So many amazing things! I got some really great stuff. I do wish I would've gotten that "talking stick" though. I'll get it next time. Really great people AND they have overnight truck parking!
What a fun place. Impossible not to just wander through looking at the interesting variety of items for sale. Friendly service. If we didn't need to get back on the road we could have spent way too much money there!
This place was fine. We just needed to stretch the legs and figured to top up the gas tank. After seeing the gas prices we decided to just walk around a bit. Bathrooms were in need of attendance and a little upgrade. Typical souvenir merch but nothing exciting.
This signs on the intestate implied that this was a nice place to eat and also that breakfast was one of their highlights and that they carried a large assortment of gift items. Upon arrival, we discovered that the "restaurant" was actually a Dairy Queen and had a very limited breakfast menu. There was no table service so you had to order at the counter and wait until they called your ticket number to pick up your food. Even if you eat there, your food comes in a paper bag and is basically wrapped or boxed to go. My breakfast was just okay but my traveling companion ordered a burger that, according to him, was very good. The gift shop had a large selection of gift/ souvenir items that were pretty over priced. I will say that the staff throughout was very welcoming and provided great customer service. To be honest. I don't think I would stop again if I was traveling through the area and wanted more than just a quick bite or fast food take out.
Very friendly and helpful staff. A good selection of gifts, some handmade. Still had the typical souvenir junk but something for everyone with any budget.
Super cool place. I wish I'd had more time to browse. I will keep this place on my list of places I want to return to. Did have time to find a gorgeous jacket that I've had many complements on.
