Story

Florkowskys woodworking has been around since 1977. We have a show room that will display new hardware and products that we produce. Over the years we’ve learned many design ideas that will help the consumer decide what best suits their needs. The consumers that we deal with are walk-ins, renovations or builder homes.
Here at Florkowskys we offer a variety of stain colors and tinted lacquers. We also offer custom stain matching or lacquers if the consumer wants a specific color. In our show room we have samples of the color for you to take home so you can pick and choose what best suits your lifestyle. To finish the product we use two spray booths with an exhaust fans so the finish is smooth, flat and minimal dust specs. Finishing at Florkowskys is one of the main reasons why were still here today. The product that leaves our shop will last a lifetime if treated properly.
Wood species is another topic that we can explain. In our show room we have many different species to choose from. With the different species of wood you will get different grain textures and color variance between pieces because we’re dealing with natural wood. If you pick paint grade material and put a tinted lacquer on it the color should be the same between all the pieces.
