We booked our Destination wedding with this group, and from start to finish the process was horrendous! We wanted a week vacation for our guests in the Dominican Republic at approx $1900 per guest ( we have been on our own many times for this price and had OUTSTANDING trips).... the representative had found us a few hotels in this range, and also one 5 star hotel for approx $2300 per person/week. She told us that if we upgraded, the hotel rooms would be way better for the guests and everything for the wedding would be better. * Side note, the wedding its self and our room was fantastic - we paid way more than the rest of the guest though. Once we arrived all the guests had the rooms the absolute furthest from the hotel and beach, the rooms all had issues : mold, train of ants, non locking door, shower didn't work, etc..... and literally were a 20 min walk from our room. Not impressed. * Lots of my guests emailed Zoe, and were ignored.* Some of the other issues we had with this company started with my billing. I received four different statements from them ranging from $2000 owing to 7000 owing, and I had to go though and figure out what was actually paid and owing in the middle of planning a Destination Wedding?!?!?!?!? Another issue, my parented decided to stay after the wedding at a different hotel and they asked for an Ocean view room..... there are photos from their room and there is NO WAY you can see the ocean. When they got home they let the team at Flight center know that they were over charged for a room they didn't get. It Zoe FIVE months to get back to my dad, and she basically told him "it is what it is".... The service was rushed, pushy, and false. I would HIGHLY recommend going anywhere else to book your destination wedding. I would be happy to discuss this with anyone thinking about booking with them. Gillian

We were trying booking a trip to Miami and New York, and the experience was rather horrible. We first called them and lady picked up and wanted to help us. As soon as we told her what we wanted she said she would look into it and call us back. We waited an entire two days and we got no call back. We decided to go into the store to get some help. We happened to talk to the same lady that was on the phone with us two days ago. When we sat down she made excuses for herself and why she didn't call back. she claimed "she got busy". We spent about two hours at the store while she looked up flights on her computer and we all barely spoke. She found us a few flights but she kept forgetting to write the information down onto a card in order to make it simple for us to choose. Anyways, the flight that she found was about 200-300 dollars more expensive than the flight we actually got (from another travel agency). We actually asked her to find some hotels for us and gave a budget. She wasted our time with overpriced resorts costing us thousands dollars 10 nights of stay. The huge prices to stay at a hotel honestly scared us from even getting the flight tickets. we thought we couldn't afford anything at those destinations. Even though she spent most of the time searching, and wasting our time she told us "make up your mind we have been together for the past two hour, and you still haven't booked anything". Overall pretty bad experience. I wouldn't recommend. We went with another flight agency. We didn't even have to go to them. We called them and spoke for about 30 mins. Everything was quickly and cheaply booked.

Booked our destination wedding to Mexico through their Wedding & Honeymoons department. Initial meeting seemed great, very extremely friendly, informative, and Sandy seemed to have an answer for every question (I'm a pretty detail-oriented and prepared person, so obviously they had a lot of questions to answer). Was given information that was incorrect (if you don't know something specifically, usually the best thing to do is say you don't know, but will definitely find out), had to do much of the correspondence myself with the resort in the initial stages to figure out answers (to which the FC team incorrectly provided), etc. Also they had issues accommodating our need to request different dates so we could get a better handle on prices - basically made it seem like we could only choose one week and then screwed up on requesting other weeks when I pushed for it, agreed, but then ended up forgetting and prolonging the entire process. Communication between "the team" is lacking. At this point I was so fed up, I hired a wedding planner to correspond with them because of my workload, and although my wedding planner may have been "annoying to them", they should have never relayed this to me in the way they did. They basically complained to me about my wedding planner and how none of the tour operators wanted to work with us because she kept asking questions and trying to get us the best deal (actually just doing her job). WHY AM I BEING B*TCHED TO ABOUT MY WEDDING PLANNER? Could have done this a bit more tastefully - like I don't have enough stress planning a wedding already. Then when we finally booked with them, the registration was super confusing, and 95% of our guests were super unhappy with how ambiguous the online form and process was. I NEVER received a final count until I requested one a couple months before the wedding and they told me they ALWAYS send one out, they must have sent it to my husband's email and "you know how men are, they forget/don't keep track of these things" - sexist a bit? Went through all of our emails, and they in fact DID NOT send a final count email before I requested. At one point I was also called a "control freak" - umm, I'm sorry, we aren't friends, you are providing a service to us, and we are giving you business, under no circumstances is this EVER appropriate. A real lack of accountability, unprofessionalism, and genuine care and concern was our experience with the majority of the members of the team, especially Sandy. We liked Zoe though - seemed like she actually cared and worked hard to make things better. Some people are better than others at detecting insincerity and ultimately the need to close a sale, but after being in sales and premium client service for years and years ourselves, this is truly what we felt was going on. Save yourself the headache and book through a different agency. They are just out to take your $$$. Oh and P.S. - the resort they recommended so highly was also a nightmare with the worst wedding planner/team and gm ever. If you are thinking of Puerto Vallarta for a destination wedding avoid NOW AMBER/SECRETS PUERTO VALLARTA. Lovely resort for perhaps a normal vacation or honeymoon, but NOT a wedding.

Very poor customer service. Booked my vacation through Expedia which I could have done myself. They should have told me this as I refuse to use Expedia as they are even worse than Fliught Center. I ended up getting stuck paying for a hotel I never used just because I needed to change the dates.

Very poor customer service at this particular Flight Centre location ( due to staff changes). This used to be my go-to travel agency for many, many years. Now, the staff appears incompetent, not organized and certainly not committed to customer service. Phone calls are not returned.
