Pros: Close to Logan, nice picnic areas. Fun in summer and winter. Grass is well taken care of.
Cons: Typically windy (notice all trees lean away from the canyon mouth), typically overcrowded. Too many geese and ducks that are aggressive during mating/duckling season and poop everywhere - though probably why the grass looks so good. You do NOT want to go barefoot in this park. Not my first choice in Logan parks. Not large enough to toss a Frisbee, kick a ball or play volleyball (it will likely end up in the water).

Met for lunch with family and played lawn games. Very nice.

Kinda windy here most of the time! But it's a great place to relax and play. I've seen plenty of people out on the water in canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. There's a spot on the south side that's very popular for "cliff jumping" into the water. Fishing is ok, I guess the best part is that it's very close and you can still have cell service. Sadly there used to be a sand volleyball pit which was removed years ago. Oh, and read the signs (there's enough of them maybe), they don't like you doing a lot of things there (like feeding the ducks, chilling in hammocks, letting your dog play around).

Great relaxing place at the mouth of the canyon. Perfect for a walk, hike, or a picnic near the water.

Beware of the one resident here has two women in two separate vehicles who drive dangerously fast through the park if you have any children or dogs their lives are at risk of being hit by these two Reckless women.
