They did a great job with my sons hair and we will go back for him 100%. If you are looking for a woman’s cut with style, go somewhere else. Janice was my hairdresser and I will never go back there because of her for myself. She eyeballed my hair, and even when I told her I had lots of curl to the back, she did not cut my hair to balance this. I asked for the length to be grazing shoulders, I now have hair just above the chin. And it’s just cut across; just straight no style, no nothing just blunt cut google Dutch Boy, that is what I look like. It’s really the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. So bummed
I went in to First Choice Haircutters today for a haircut. Megan did an amazing job on my hair and was very professional. Megan is a very good stylist, I recommend her 100 percent!
Jonathan here gets 5 stars. Over the years I've had mixed experiences, but the last 2 times Jan 2017 and May 2017 Jonathan has done this establishment's reputation well, knocking my overall rating up 1 star! First he gave me a majestic beard and moustache trim in January. Being a beard enthusiast, he was careful not to take off too much length and to curate the moustache. Guys with beards, it's safe to have Jonathan give you a beard trim. Later he gave me a solid haircut - and taught me a few different styles that would work well with the do. All for 20 bucks.
Waiting 15 minutes nobody said a word to me for a 2.30 appt 2.45 now I have to be in Glencoe in25 min.total waste of gas and time
I called on New Year's Eve and managed to get in on short notice. I am very happy with my haircut. The hairdresser was skilled in cutting and styling hair and great conversation. I highly recommend coming here, however it is a bit on the pricier side for a men's cut than i usually like to pay but still well worth it.

I loved it, honestly Natilie was Amazing and was so polite! She always asked if I was satasfied and is super friendly, my hair before this was super long and having it cut this short for the first time is like a new me! Again, I loved it, they were fully booked the day before but got us in ASAP and they also gave us a 15% off coupon the next time I come! I re-booked to get my hair dyed on saturday and am very much looking forward to it.
Always a pleasure going in to get my hair cut. Staff is very friendly especially Kelly. She's a great stylist and listens to what I'm lòoking for in a haircut.
Megan berdan did the absolute best job!! She highlighted my hair and made it super icy and blonde, keep in mind I had damaged hair before so she did a cut and left the length, still looks long! She layered it beautifully. Photos below after-before, highly recommend! The only negative out of my experience was that the hair products on the shelf that customers buy have no price listed anywhere, meaning the hair stylist has to ring it in and let the customer know how much $ it is, which may end up uncomfortable for the customer because if they can't afford it they have to put it back, or may result in customers not even looking at the products because what's the sense of looking for something to buy that has no price listed? Just a thought. This review has nothing to do with the employees at the salon, they have no control over this. This is purely the company's grab at customers.
