First Choice Haircutters

Took my boys for haircuts, usually it's a battle between what they want, what I want, and the hairdresser's ability.. we had a great experience here, my youngest was done very quickly with great results, my eldest boy had Taylor, she was amazing with him. He has thick hair, and a ton of it, and he's very opinionated about his hair.. among other things... she happily snipped away while chatting it up with him, keeping him happy the whole time. She spent lots of time ensuring his hair was perfect and kept him satisfied. We will definitely be back.

Been here a few times now since I moved to Brantford last summer, maybe five total. Four out of the five times I was happy with my haircut. The only time that I was unhappy, I ended up with a new stylist, I can't remember her name, some foreign middle aged lady. It's kind of tough to blame her because she basically did what I asked, only she took a little too much off and I ended up looking like I got a straight up buzz cut. Can't be mad though because hair grows back so it is what it is, but I wasn't too pleased. Nonetheless, she was still very friendly. Two out of the five times I got Taylor. A little PYT who was also very friendly and easy to talk to. Did a good job both times so I might start calling in first to book with her next time. I've always gone to First Choice for my haircuts ever since I was able to pay for them myself and not have to get my mom to cut my hair! Every once in a while I would try those salons you find at the mall where you pay a little bit more but why bother if you can get the same quality cut for a little bit less. Just gotta find the right stylist sometimes and stick with them.

I agree the wait sucks sometimes, but the staff is awesome! I've never had a problem with them or noticed if they're being unprofessional. Always nice and courteous. They listen to how I want my hair cut and they do it. Love it!

Sometimes long wait prices ok however fast and convenient for walk in service

Been here a few times. Service is very unprofessional at times often found ladies are chatting it up in the back or don't get recognized when entering the building. They turn people away in their operating hours. If a client arrives during operating hours and others arrive they should be extending service to those clients. It is not the clients fault that you had 5 people arrive within the last 15 mins of operating ours or have a full waiting area in your last 45 mins of operating and still turn clients away. Very unprofessional. You are paid by the hour I assume or by appointment either case you are still getting paid.
