Great little spot in a very small town called Markdale Ontario. It is actually the old fire hall which gave for a really cool facade and interior. They fuction as a cafe/restaurant during the day and have live music in the bar at the back in the evenings. Coffee and burger were Great, but I was really there for the Chapman's ice cream from the factory just down the road.

Simply the best coffee north of the city. The food is awesome and the service is super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Nice atmosphere. Menu offers wide choice of appetizers and main courses. Occasionally offers live entertainment.

Interesting place in a tiny town. This is a worthy stop on the way to or from Tobermory. Seems to have live music sometimes. They have a good selection of drinks and even some food. Coffee is good, not amazing but i would recommend it over most chains.

Okay a 3 star might be a bit critical because but I couldn't come up with a 4 star. I ordered schnitzel with fries and gravy (I know right, not too healthy, but there are not many healthy choices on the menu). The fries were cold and the gravy was so salty that I could not eat it. The schnitzel looked good and came with a good sized lemon slice but it was a bit disappointing, lacking flavour and was dry. Portions were a fair size but just not good tasting. The burgers looked good and huge and the fries are fresh cut. The place has a nice atmosphere and is a renovated fire hall that sells trendy little packet foods and soaps as well as specialty coffee beans and ice cream. With a little work, it could be a quite a good location, just isn't there yet.
