I am elated to report the Barrhead has reopened!  I have yet to revisit them, but will probably be going tomorrow!!  Yay, our favourite local joint is back!!!

I leave the below comment for history's sake only:

(The Barrhead has closed its doors, following last year's catastrophic rains that washed out their property and may have caused some structural damage.  Don't know exactly what happened, but they never reopened.  

A real shame, we all loved it there.)

Great beer , the place needs work to tidy it up but nice atmosphere and the staff is pleasant and friendly
My wife says it's not untidy just rustic
