The atmosphere is wonderful: perfect combination of quirky and homey. Just look at the house rules at the entrance The menu is such a fun read! And the food is actually tasty. There were 6 of us, we all had burgers and every single one of us loved our burgers. This is a truly rare occasion! So, yes, come and eat here!!
Loved the setting and the food. Lots of beer choices on tap. Helpful staff. Very kind to us tourists who ask stupid questions about poutine, questioning interesting options like peanut butter and carrot habanero and requesting substitutions. Excellent food!
Update: owner responded and kept saying we ordered a non vegan dish. I'd like to point out this is one of three dishes you list you can modify for vegan. The other two is a salad and impossible burger which we cannot eat as it makes us throw up. We also asked there was anything else they can make vegan for us to which we got a solid nope. I love the tone of your response which is actually dismissing and making excuses. You have tons of ingredients to make exceptional dishes, so if you ever want help we can advise on some things that will be a hit for vegans and meat eaters alike.nnWe called ahead and asked about vegan options other than the impossible burger as we can't eat that. They said they had lots. Go in, sorry we don't have the sauces to make the other stuff. Finally got them to just use a sauce from another dish. Food came after well over an hour and was the smallest plate of kale salad you ever saw and one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. We actually had to leave and eat somewhere else because the food portion was tiny. The flights were pretty cheap. So come here exclusively for the drinks forget eating here, what a waste. Don't worry others who are meat were not over the moon for quantity and price. Service is about as bad as it gets. Not only super slow but very unwilling to assist. I would never recommend this place besides for a beer. In fact it's the only reason it gets two stars.
Ordered the wings because they took all the other chicken options off the menu. The wings had the most awful breading on them. Tasted like flour. At 16 dollars with no sides! I had one bite and sent them back. I got the bill and they only comped half the cost of the wings. I Likely won't be back
Just happened to stop in while traveling through the area and we decided to check it out. The service was fantastic and very welcoming. The food and drink suggestions were out standing. Loved all of it. Definitely stopping back by as I travel through there often. Also I used to live there and love that the fireball has new life. I started eating before I took pics lol
