The Fenwick & Baker - Public House is exactly what you want when you go to a pub — great service, amazing food, and cold beer.nnThe food here is honestly above what you’d normally expect from a pub. Everything is top-notch, full of flavour, and clearly made with care.nnIf you get the chance, keep an eye out for their brunch buffet on select Sundays. It’s by far my favourite brunch in town, and there’s a reason it’s always packed!nnThe photos I’m sharing are two of my personal favourites: the brunch chicken and waffles and the Friday chicken cutlet special. Both are absolutely incredible.nnHighly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Cranbrook!
Fish and Chips were great! Service was outstanding and the atmosphere in the old bar was fantastic. Pool tables were open as well so shooting a couple games while we waited was great way to kill the time. Definitely recommend checking this restaurant/pub out.
WOW! Excellent meal. Had the Shepard’s Pie which is, we were told by our friendly server, a recent addition to the menu. Tough call as the burger happening the next table over looked ridiculously tasty, but our server suggested the Shepard’s Pie was an excellent choice. She wasn’t wrong.nA generous serving of ground beef and lamb in a superb red wine gravy beneath a mountain of delicious mashed potatoes. So good. Served with a fresh garden salad and hot garlic toast, what more could you want. It was as good as, or even better than, a home cooked meal assuming your home cooked meal is a good one.nMy wife had a locally brewed, on tap ale which she described as very satisfying.nThe service was friendly and quick.nAs an aside, humorous washroom indicators bring a smile to the face. Pub is on the main level of old Hotel building. Bison burger was decent, Chippers were awesome. Service was spot on. The beer selection is decent, good local brews. Decor more industrial rather than historical pub. Overall solid choice in Cranbrook.
