Amazing food! Amazing service! Loved it!!! The ravioli and gnocchi were delicious and were reasonably priced. Elegant location and great tables. Beautiful view of the big city. Service was amazing. Our server, Eric, had great suggestions of the dishes and had a kindhearted personality, made us laugh many times. Overall, no complaints and thank you for the experience!!!
Located besides the Le St. Martin Hotel's lobby it offers good service and has very appealing interior. We've ordered the charcuterie board and with some wine and drinks all went great. I believe it's a good fix if you wanna bring company in some lighter setting.
The food was amazing! I tried ravioli and Burrata - both very delicious, with a great presentation. We were surprised by the drinks - Amanda’s service was great, and the Espresso Martini was one of the best I’ve ever had. The only downside is that the food took such a long time. However, the food was worth the wait.
Beautiful interior design. Great for any romantic night. Affordable prices with fantastic food and great service. The waiters were attentive and ensured we had a good time. Calamari was one of the best we ever had. Ravioli was bomb.
This was a nice place but expensive. An southern Italian restaurant with a chic. We had drinks which were amazing. Then on to starters ; with octopus, amazing. The dressing and chutney were extremely tasty. With it we had Burrata. The cheese melted in the mouth and the veges with their sour touch did an excellent job. After that we had the fillet Mignon and lobster with pata. That said the fillet was good. Exactly medium rare. The lobster was slightly over done giving a very chewy feeling. The pasta had a thick creamy sauce which was very enjoyable. To close up we had tiramisu and that too did wonders. The bus I unit was in house made and very soft. Overall bill 333$ so an expensive restaurant. Likely a one time affair or only on special occasions.
I agreed with others' reviews that it's overpriced. They charge over $30 for 4 shrimp cocktail that were still a bit frozen. Linguini with clams is dry and couldn't taste the clam juice with white wine at all. The 3 large clams in the pasta were over cooked and chewy. The calamari were PERFECT, lightly coated and crispy with unique sauce, highly recommend this dish. I think it's a shame an Italian restaurant couldn't make pasta dishes right. I think for the price they charge we expect everything to be perfect. Hence the disappointment when they only make a couple dishes perfectly.
first date spot! no English menu available for me unfortunately we came from Ottawa, he grew up in Montréal though but the food was just excellent and the service was equally good. atmosphere was nice but we felt super judged, to be honest? probably wouldn't go back, but it is a treasured memory. shoutout to our waiter for being the most helpful and kind guy ever!
We went two nights ago as a group of six - three couples. It happened to be an evening where there was only a fixed menu at 55$ my first disappointment I was refused the regular menu despite looking at the restaurant’s website menu prior to going and no where did it specify a fixed menu. The fixed menu came with appetizer I selected goat cheese & beet salad a main I chose the mushroom risotto and a dessert tiramisu. Food: all was mediocre or less than. The goat cheese and pickled beets was the best thing I put in my mouth that evening but given its simplicity I would be surprised for that to be messed up. The mushroom risotto had poor presentation - looked a little like a shlop of porridge on a plate. Top it off with some green onion, truffle, flakes of Parmasean or something! The taste was even worse than it looked. The risotto was grainy and crunchy almost. The dessert, a baileys tiramisu was inconsistently served some on the table had huge pieces and some had very tiny pieces and was covered in so much cocoa powder. My husband had the cannolis. The filling of the cannolis was nice, but the whole flavour was completely ruined by some cheap chocolate Nesquik??? syrup. Service: the service was mediocre as well. We received bread only after we had all finished our appetizerdespite having been at the table for 45+ minutes before the appetizers. The excuse - the bread was in the oven. My thought - oh goodie! Nice warm bread. The bread tasted like 2 day old Costco rolls warmed up. Probably the worst bread i had ever received in a restaurant. I had to ask for water to be filled every time and my glass often sat empty for a long while before I could catch anyones attention. Once we had all been clearly done with our desserts for a while, no one ever came to pick up the plates offer us anything else also we were never offered coffee or tea or a digestif with the dessert. Probably another 45 minutes after being done with the desserts plates still on the table my husband finally got up to ask for the bills. There was an issue with one of the bills and the server was adamant that the complaint was wrong semi arguing with my friend over a bottle of water on a 250$+ bill. A damper to end the night & quite unprofessional. Our bill was closer to 150$ for my husband and I, but we see it as 150$ down the drain. At least the company was good - however to be enjoy at another restaurant next time.
Food was great, and we had the perfect waitress if i remember her name rigth it was amanda, an italian/venuzualian girl she made great drink and kept us company even though the restaurant was loaded and a special thank to cigar papy who took some time to make sure that everything was number 1! I'm coming back for sure!
Perfection - both food and service. Luxurious, but relaxed ambiance. I highly recommend the cannoli. I will be frequenting this restaurant from now on.
