This has to be the best restaurant we have been to in BC. The food was excellent and the plating was very artful. The chef Mark has brought the culinary world from Quebec to us and definitely it will be where I want to eat. My wife and I both had the Ling Cod which was excellent and we shared Mushroom Toast. It's a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very nice and friendly and make you comfortable. All in all a great choice. Came back 2nd visit and was not disappointed. We split the mushroom appetitizer which is delicious and we both had the pork loin which was excellent as well. The pork comes with baby vegetables and grilled peach. It's too bad that next week they close till April and then we will be back. If you want to go to flavor town this is the place.
This is a Comox hidden gem! Wonderful setting nestled against the estuary with mountain views. Set in Filberg Park, the location is simply stunning. What made it even better was the food. We had an excellent meal. I had the spot prawn pasta salad with kale. Perfection on a plate. The serving wasn't large but sufficient and the flavours were lovely. The menu is limited but the focus on local food and alcohol was very welcome. The service was very professional and staff were knowledgeable about their food and beverages. Well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.
Having grown up on the coast, I have eaten a lot of fish, but I have never tasted a piece of fish like the amazing ling cod we had tonight. Every other dish was also done to perfection, unique but familiar, like tasting a beautiful memory you thought you forgot. Truly masterful cooking.
A beautiful and lazy summer evening dining outdoors at the Filberg Summer Kitchen experiencing a dinner that made my tastebuds stand up and take notice! Our dinner was outstanding. The creativity and the flavours left me thinking that I need to let people know about this little gem of the Valley. A remarkable dining experience. Will be back soon!
The food, the staff, and the ambiance aren't just remarkable, they are an experience. This was well worth the 2.5hr drive. Watching the kitchen staff work was a thing of beauty. I have so much appreciation for the thought and effort that is going into our food after watch that team work their craft.

Hands down the best food and experience in Comox Valley. I’ve tried almost every dish and they are all fantastic and worth every penny.
