Looking for a pub on a Monday evening. This was one of the only places open. We loved our dinner here. Great service, food, and beer selection. All with a nice view of the ocean. The beer flights are my absolute favourite, and I’m glad they offered one. Highly recommend.
Very good food! Lots of choices in the menu. Food was good quality and the service was friendly and attentive. The head chef took the time to greet us at our table. I recommend this place. Great location too.
In town for work and this restaurant was next door to my hotel, so was the easy answer for dinner my first night. Easy answer turned into the only answer for the next three nights, the food was amazing, only outshone by the staff who at every turn were amazing and welcoming making me feel like a regular every time I walked thru the door. Even if I stay somewhere different…this will be my first choice for dinner my next visit.
Very good food. We had the lamb which was excellent. The owner, Peter came and sat with us for a few min and explained how he prepares some of the food. Excellent atmosphere right across from the ocean.
AMAZING food and service. We went on a Sunday, we tried going somewhere else but they didn’t let kids in the restaurant so we ended up here. I’m SO glad we did. It was 6:15pm and I phoned up looking for a booking for 10 people. They said they could do 6:45, which was very impressive and accommodating considering the place was very full when we arrived. The food—epic. My dad, a sheep farmer from New Zealand, was absolutely blown away by the lamb shank. My brother-in-law had a steak and he said it was the best piece of meat he’s ever tasted at a restaurant. I had the peanut butter dumplings which were just divine. To try something Greek, which is the flavour of this restaurant, we got the Spanakopita which was soooo yummy. Pizza, which was had by my nephews 7 & 11 looked and smelt divine. There were some amazing pizza flavours that I wish I could go back to try. I’d also go back just for the pita bread, fresh and delicious. The service was amazing as well—everyone was helpful and accommodating. The price was very good, you could easily find something budget friendly here or go all out and get something more expensive. There were a range of prices to suit everyone. They had a lovely local beer menu and lovely cocktails—I got the Bermuda and I don’t know what was in it, but it was tasty. Overall one of my favourite dining experiences, if not my favourite, in Canada. Can’t rate it enough!
Garbage service had entire staff rolling their eyes and whispering in the corner. To top that off paying close to 35 dollars for a lamb roast no bigger then a chicken leg and mostly bone I would have got more out of a happy meal at McDonald's. At least I got flat bread and 2 cups of undercooked rice with it...
The food here is amazing and well priced. You will need a reservation on the weekend. Lost a star because the chairs are very uncomfortable
This place is pretty trendy, they have a beautiful patio and plenty of indoor space. The food was alright. The souvlaki was good, but the corn and rice were dry and it didn’t come with a Greek salad like most place serve it. I’ll come back to try another dish.
Great pub with an excellent selection of beers and food . Our Server Gavin was absolutely 5+ stars. We enjoyed our beers , food and ambience .
First time going here since it was Freddy's Pub and was so impressed! The staff are happy & friendly, even the owner popped by our table to see how we were doing and even helped the waiter serve our meal. Prices were really good, food was so yummy! We had the Asian Salad & Lasagna. Service was fast and so nice to see such a happy group of staff! We will definitely be returning
