i used to get my food staples at loblaws which is a block north of this grocery store. I went in and the first thing i noticed was how many employees there actually working on the floor. And they didn't look miserable, with smiles and eye contact .Then i went to the cash and saw actual cashiers working not just one employee pointing me to a self check out. i wish i payed attention to this place sooner because i rather had been supporting a local business like this. Even as things get more expensive i would rather put my money towards a local company rather than a huge corporation.
Fiesta Farms is hands down one of my favorite grocery stores in Toronto.nnIt is not in my neighborhood, but it is one of those places we will deliberately make a trip for. We did exactly that this past weekend, and every time I go, I am reminded why it is worth the effort. Shopping here feels like an experience rather than a chore.nnFiesta Farms is not a cheap grocery store, and it is not trying to be. It is an independent grocer, and the value really shows in the quality and selection. Some everyday items, especially certain meats and cheeses, can actually be cheaper than at larger chain grocery stores, which is always a nice surprise. But the real standout is the variety and quality of the produce, meat, and fish. Compared to most chain grocery stores, the selection here is unmatched.nnThe fruits and vegetables are consistently excellent, with far more choice than you usually see. The meat and fish counters are equally impressive, and there is always something special to discover. I particularly love their Argentinian steak, which I seem to end up buying every time I visit. It is one of those places where you feel inspired to cook something proper rather than just grabbing basics.nnThere are a few independent grocery stores around the city that I regularly return to, and Fiesta Farms is absolutely one of them. It has character, depth, and a level of care that you can feel while shopping.nnThe one downside, and it is a big one for me, is the grocery cart situation. The metal barriers they have installed at the front of the store prevent customers from taking carts across to the parking lot. I find this extremely inconvenient. The parking lot is directly across the street, and even if someone were to leave a cart behind, it would be very easy to retrieve. I highly doubt cart theft was ever a serious issue here.nnWhile there are sometimes staff members who help bring groceries to your car, that support is not always available. I often see people struggling, juggling heavy bags, or visibly frustrated by this setup. It genuinely takes away from an otherwise excellent shopping experience.nnI strongly hope Fiesta Farms reconsiders this decision and looks for a better solution. With a small change here, this grocery store would be nearly perfect. Despite that frustration, it remains one of the best places in Toronto for high-quality groceries and a truly enjoyable shopping experience.
I’ve walked by here for years, but it was the first time I’ve ever actually entered into this store.nnWhat a lovely surprise. There were so many products here, that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. I understand why this place was hopping!nnWould definitely come back, especially since there was a gentleman giving away free samples. I love my freebies!
From the staff and managers to the deli and butcher counter, everyone there is absolutely amazing. They truly treat you like family, and honestly, I can’t see myself shopping at another grocery store now.nnThe quality of their products is incredible, and they carry items you genuinely can’t find anywhere else in Canada yet somehow, they always have them.nnI highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service, unique products, and an overall amazing shopping experience.
This place has it ALLnnFrom free parking, through awesoke variety of products, to great prices!nnCheck it out for yourself and you'll be impressed of how close to Toronto downtown a store like this can be.nnYou'll love the mushroons variety, produce, international products, non-alcohol beverage section. And all the vegan products too.nnDon't miss out
