This place is tucked away so some people miss it. It’s produce is fresh and it has some special/international items you can’t find in other markets. They have ready made items like soups available as well as sushi. The cashiers were really pleasant and parking was easy to get. The only down sides are it is small and it’s more expensive than the fresh co that’s 5 minutes away from this farm boy.
Love the grocery store, they have fresh produce and the best bakery selection. I see they have doughnuts as well. They have smash burgers on Wednesday and it was delicious. It was $5.99 for one or 2 for $10. Tried the sushi was as good. Plenty of parking spaces. I do love the variety of meats and sea food. Today is 1lb wings for $9.99. Sounds like that is din̈er. #GroceryShopping #FreshBread #Sushi
As someone who is fortunate enough to live within walking distance of Loblaws, Freshco, No Frills and Farm Boy, I've found myself increasingly choosing Farm Boy for produce, fish and other proteins, as well as some of their own in-house products. I think they're really top quality. The store is clean and staff are super helpful too.
The name Farm Boy, the variety and the way things are laid in-store, the friendly smiling staff, the in-house bakery, their own-branded products, the ready-to-eat range, and the whole feel of the stores make it my favorite store for our weekly grocery shopping.nI'm diabetic; my wife is a pure vegetarian, and my son loves meat; not only do they have stuff, but quite a decent variety for all of us. Their ready-to-eat soups are delicious, just warm and ready to eat. It's very convenient, yummy, and perfect for a quick and healthy meal when you are short on time. I love their dips and pasta sauces. Their cheese collection, salads, and sushi bar are not huge as some other similar stores have; their salads and sushi are yummy, freshly made.nI have often picked delicious non-branded cakes, muffins, pies, bread, chips, chocolates, pizza base, samosas, pickles, etc., made locally. I also feel Farm Boy is cheaper to buy groceries than other similar stores. I enjoy shopping for groceries, and it's my favorite go-to store.
I just want to acknowledge my cashier yesterday, November 3, 2025. Her name is Lola & she was the most delightful customer service representative I think I have ever met. Professional, caring and super knowledgeable….she even memorized a very long product code that wouldn’t scan…remarkable. FarmBoy, you certainly hired a treasure!
