Great campsite, if you're mobile home "camping." My experience is strictly as a tent camper, and the sites, viewed through that lense, are poor at best. They are narrow, with concrete parking areas with outlets - Standard mobile home sites. Bathrooms have a code, and are very clean and nice. Free showers on site as well, which is very nice. I spoke to several rangers and they were all polite. I cannot give the grounds t stars simply because I was told the sites were great for tent camping, which they are not. Great river access as well, by the way.

The worst part of this park is the location near the road. Always loud cars. But truly beautiful. Great creek and river access. Small yet welcoming. It's family friendly and always busy. Close to town and yet far enough to enjoy the sound of the water....when the cars aren't too loud.

I really want to give this park 5 stars, but it is $5 dollars to go there, and it has fairly minimal amenities for small children. That said the park is fairly large, well manicured, and has good water access for skipping stones, and hand carried vessels like kayaks. The park is great for running around with the dog and kids, and what little play equipment it has is in excellent condition. The small amount of play equipment mean's your kids might get bored of the place pretty quickly though.

WOULD NEVER CAMP HERE AGAIN. Great place to go if you are going camping for the joy of going to bed early. If you stay up past about 10PM people will get off their jitterbugs to complain that you ruined their bingo match and go to the park host. If you want to go to the day use area it is a pretty good and fun place to go, camping is a joke though.
