Festival Foods is a Wonderful, Pleasant store. There is always pleasant associates around willing to help you find whatever you need and they greet you in passing. The produce,meat and deli departments are outstanding! Always fresh and quality. I recommend this store to everyone!

Did some calculations on their pricing versus like items at Woodman's and Aldi and on average, Festival is 65% higher in cost. They say "shop the deals" but really that just shows you how much they gouge you on a daily basis. They position their La Crosse stores near food deserts, so they are taking advantage of people who cannot travel beyond the city limits. Their forced customer service reminds me of the twilight zone episode where everyone must think happy thoughts, less they be turned into Jack-in-the-boxes.

Being only a half mile from the house, this is a stop for our short walks when it is to cold to go downtown. When we found out about the Tot spot we began to try to use it. The girl there during the week is so pleasant and understanding as our son was to scared the first few times (tho the lady on Sunday watched us sit on the bench waiting for the person running it to come back. As it had the sign "we are open be right back" after 20min an elderly lady who was right there chatting with another employee heard me say "I wonder when they will be back its been 20 minutes" then she walked over to the sign and took it down. I was NOT impressed with her lack of customer assistance.....) I love salad bars and this one goes above and beyond with the hot food as well. The selection of lettuce is great for our Pet Tortoise and the bakery is a must stop for hubby as you always seem to have Pumpkin pie. Tho the prices may be a tad high we still shop there for the customer assistance (except that one elderly lady running the Tot spot on sunday) and how clean and bright the store is. Will continue to use this store for our needs.

Ordered a first birthday cake, after discussing the smash cake and being told it would match cake ordered, went to pick up and no smash cake and would not match the cake ordered, was told they don't do that any longer. Very disappointed. Also had ham sliced in deli, while pleased they offer this service I requested sandwich width and when got to venue was steak width, had to find knife from kitchen to cut smaller.

My husband and I got our dessert for our wedding there. We ordered a bunch of cupcakes and a mini cake for our reception, and they turned out wonderful! They did our color theme very well and tasted delicious! We almost decided not to get our cupcakes there because the first employee that was helping us made the process frustrating, but another employee who actually worked in the deli came to help. I'm glad he came over because he turned our whole experience around. Thank you for the wonderful dessert!
