Jennifer Goldsmith was invaluable in closing our previous house and purchasing our current home. No small feat as the two properties were 12 hours apart and one was a private sale! She made sure to explain everything to us, overall the process was fairly seamless from our side! Additionally, we contacted Jennifer to help setup our wills and powers of attorney. Again she laid everything out and made the process very straightforward. We will definitely be looking to Jennifer and Ferguson Deacon Taws for any future requirements and highly recommend them to others!
We have used FDT a number of times now, for home sales and purchases, new mortgages, and when setting up our wills/Power of Attorney/medical, etc. We worked with Jennifer Goldsmith each time, and every-time, we had nothing but great experiences with her and her team. They were always thorough, and did everything they could to accommodate us and to help us along throughout the process. We always felt like they were truly there to represent us and our best interest when dealing with mortgage companies and brokers, and Jennifer's guidance throughout establishing our wills, etc. was extremely helpful and made everything so smooth and easy. I can't imagine reaching out to any other team whenever we need to take care of these big things that com along.

I am, unfortunately, leaving a 1 star review because of the lack of communication/compassion that was shown in my situation. I phoned in inquiring about a consultation for a serious work related injury. Had left a message with a very stern receptionist and never received a phone call back. Instead I received an email from a “Melissa Macdonald” stating that my case is not appropriate for her. I’ve never spoken to this individual before. She has never asked me questions about the situation or has any knowledge of who I am and what I am hoping to do. Not even a “HELLO.” I’ve phoned another Law Firm here in Midland have an appt to physically sit down with someone to discuss my situation. That being said I’m not sure how far they were willing to take this or help me but the fact that I’m sitting down to speak with someone means the world to me because all I’ve been looking for is a little COMPASSION. These people lack that. Go somewhere else. The positive reviews that have been submitted for this establishment have NOTHING to do with personal injury. They’re all customers involved in real estate. Any office in Midland, Ontario can you help with that. Avoid this law firm the best you can. There’s a reason why their parking lot is ALWAYS EMPTY. Thanks for reading.
