Unfortinately our last experience with this firm was not very good, so I would not recommend it.
This is not the kind of office that keeps you informed about what is going to happen and when. The clerk we dealt with did not provide any heads up information, and, overall, communicated poorly, not in a way you would expect from a law firm. In spite of a long closing period of 2.5 months, and an advance request from me to prepare the information earlier, if possible, I had to send multiple emails to this office during the last week before the closing reminding them that we needed to know the amount on the Statement of Adjustment in order to arrange the cheque on time. Instead of any concrete details, I was given all kinds of excuses (busy season, municipality not responding) and uninformative phrases ("as soon as I have time"). I ended up outlining for them a amounts that I expect in the Statement of Adjustment and asking to confirm the total before I finally received a meaningful number on the last business day before closing.
Now, after the closing date, we still have problems due to taxes not being paid for the whole year when we were told (and charged) as if they were. Municipality advised me that they did not receive any requests on the tax statement for this property, so I am left wondering why the law clerk suggested that the municipality was not responding.
One months after the deal was closed we still don't have copies of the documents we signed. That was also due to a "busy season", as we were told. I don't understand why copying documents is such a big deal because my experience with other firms was that the package of documents would be given to the Buyer right on the spot.
I am still frustrated with the quality of service we received.
To be fair, we also dealt with this firm (and a different clerk) in June. The experience at that time was better, maybe because the deal was much simpler and soon fell through.

This law firm is terrible. Their service is deplorable.
Late afternoon the day before my appointment to sign for closing on my first home I was forced to call the office because I had not heard from them. When moving a person has enough on their plate that they shouldn't have to baby sit the law office as well. The clerk I spoke to got the amounts incorrect so while I was at the bank getting a cheque cut she called and I needed to get a second cheque for an additional amount. She had the gall to ask me why I was at the bank already!!! Really?!??! Isn't that my business not hers? She also told me I needed to get hold of my insurance company and request that they change the wording in the binder letter which the law office had received a month earlier. All this occurred the afternoon before signing at 4:30pm. Their office closes at 5pm.
On top of all that they managed to request that the $2000 line of credit on my mortgage was also used to pay closing so two weeks later I get a bill from the bank for a payment!!!!
Then I get a call a week later and told that they over charged me $400+ and when could I come to the office to get the refund cheque?
Crazy!!!!!
Now 10 weeks later I still haven't received any paperwork from this firm and when I called was told that it would be at least another four plus weeks making an estimated arrival just before Christmas.
Ridiculous! Don't bother using this firm if you are used to reasonable customer service. You will not receive it from them.
