Terrible food... the worst Chicken Parmigiana I have ever tried. It was supposed to be an Alfredo sauce which didn't taste anything like Alfredo instead of Tomato, not sure why, but nevertheless, it was absolutely bland. It was truly the worst I have ever tried. Soggy fries and the list goes on. The prices, however, are high, which doesn't match the quality of the food in any capacity.nNo one has said at any point that American cheddar on the garlic bread is extra. It's not about $1.50, but any upcharge should be communicated upfront and not just casually snuck into the bill.nDefinitely won't be coming back.

The beers are really good—especially the Underground Cream, which is top-notch. The service could use some improvement though; it’s easy to sit with an empty glass for 15 minutes, even when the place is less than a quarter full. As for the food, anything with an American-sounding name is usually great, but steer clear of anything that sounds Italian. The “pesto” pasta, for example, is actually a rosé sauce loaded with melted American cheddar—not even close to real pesto.

Delicious food and very good service and nice atmosphere, we were sitting near the vintage gas stove was marvelous. Shrimp were excellent, chicken, chicken parmesan, fish & chips, cake, the dips, pickled Ceasars. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Went to The Federal Tavern for date night tonight with my hubby for the 1st time and they did not disappoint. Their Mushroom caps were the perfect combination of crispy and juicy with a fantastic buttery finish best I've ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection which in this town is nearly impossible to find and the sides complimented it beautifully. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive without the awkward hovering that you get in some places. All in all Hubby and I have found our new favorite spot for date night. We cannot wait to return again. 20/10 recommend.

The one man band was amazing and the reason we stayed.nnThe place was busy with a few tables available but not packed. The service was not existent. My buddy and I had to go up to the bar to get our drinks. Waitress was more into recording the singer than assisting customers. The gentleman behind bar and cashier was just standing there. Not sure what he does.nnThe food was pretty good.nnOur bill arrived and she had drinks on there that we didn't order. She corrected the bill only for us to leave and see she also charged us for 2 beers that we already paid for when we went to bar. Those 2 beers we had cost us $34.nnDue to the lack of service and being way overcharged, I would not recommend this place to out of towners. This may be a scam as most people were locals.
