Fat Les’s Chip Stand

This was good!!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food itself was very tasty. I had 2 types of hotdogs and some other yummy things. I’m planning to return to try more. I was told afterwards that it has more than one location, which is all to the good as far as I am concerned. 2nd visit, I’m very tempted to apply to become one of Les’s portly pals, chubby chums, fat friends or whatever the proper term is. The puked pork poutine was wonderful!!! Les is a culinarily genius!!! several more trips later: I’ve tried almost every type of poutine and they are all mouth watering wonderful.

Their fries, gravy and onion chips are the best around here. They also serve you huge scoops of ice cream. They are 3 locations. I prefer the one behind Walmart. There are other fries stands in kemptville. Don’t bother to try the others as Fat Les is the best. **. Fries and gravy here are the best. The cook is very chatty and friendly. They do not accept credit card so bring cash. ** a bit disappointed this time. Very little onion chips for $5. The gravy is quite watery. ** the server is really nice. They just closed but when we went to the counter they still agreed to cook some for us. We are so happy as we are really hungry.

If you really want to ruin a long running diet with a fantastic dirty meal definitely check this place out. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe poutine and I kid you not. Best thing I've eaten, worth the 3000 calories you'll probably gain from a single meal.

Great portions for the price. They have delicious dark gravy in their Poutines. They have a good variety menu for all diets including Gluten free and Vegan options and to top it off... they offer debit pay for those who no longer carry cash in their pockets.

Awesome service. Awesome food. Lots of different choices to choose from. Although my gf had to order 3 different times because they were out of stuff. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger poutine.

Love the burgers here, you can tell they are made in house. The fresh cut chips are some of the best I have had.

I only get here twice a year and order something different every time. Its all been good. Their fries are one of the better tasting ones in the golden triangle.

Cook was wiping her hands on her black jeans and then putting the hamburgers together between orders. Very unsanitary. Just my observation. Customer service was great. The older lady cooking was rude several times while I was at the window to her staff member taking orders. On top of that she was slamming food down on the counter, I felt bad for the lady at the counter because she was so nice despite this other lady's negative attitude and yelling at her. People are in line. Were shocked to see the older lady's behavior. Just a heads up My food was good Thankfully she didn't touch it
