Stopped here in this small town to get some ice cream! loved the vibe of this place. Its just located few kms off the highway in kemptville. They have a small food take out and ice cream along with a patio setting. The prices were super cheap and the taste was great. just 5$ for a beef burger which tasted heavenly! Too many flavours of ice cream & sundae available! Must visit .. great small town setting!

Food greasy, paper overly greasy, turnip fries cold and not seasoned. The oily turnip fries tasted like the oil was old. The wait was too long. Not acceptable. Too costly for such a greasy meal! Never again!
Got a cheeseburger for $4.50. Very friendly staff. Only thing was there were more lettuce and tomato than patty, it was thinner than a McDonalds patty. Good flavouring though and will probably be back again. You get what you pay for

Meh. A friend and I ordered a milkshake and cone. Cone was served after 5 minutes. Watched other orders placed after us served first but still no milkshake. Finally ready 15 minutes after ordering. Someone tell the teenage staff how to sequence orders properly. My friend finished their cone long before my milkshake was started
We order few burgers and a hotdogHad to wait over 20min. Buns were stale and old. Burgers were dry, and the fries were at least fried few times and/or it seems they were left over fries, it was pretty disgusting, And the girl who served ice cream had a very bad attitude!
Only reason it's a 3 star instead of a 2 is because the staff are great here. However, the owner really needs to put some money back into their business, invest in another soft serve machine, 3/4 times the soft serve couldn't keep up with how busy it was, the ice cream was merely soup. The staff did their best to explain this, offering hard ice cream instead...not their fault. Also, I understand the rainbow machine or whatever it is, cost 8k to fix, I've never tried it, but I hear a lot of people complaining that it hasn't been fixed and would like to have it back in operation. Will give it another try sometime down the road, but I don't have high hopes right now. Get better owners, it's not cheap here, offer a quality product.
It was our first time to go there. We were coming in from the US and we thought it was fantastic. It was the heartbeat of the area with everyone there coming to socialize. The portions were great and the icecream really fresh and refreshing on a warm day. I definitely recommend trying it out.
We went there for the first time with our granddaughters and we unaware of the combo special. They did warn us it would be a wait, which was not a problem as the food was delicious! Our granddaughters, who are picky eaters,loved their burgers & can't wait to return. Thank you Dairy Barn & Grill for great service, great food & great price! We will be back very soon!
