I felt like I was really taken care of and very pleased with the quality of work, my car had a very serious problem with the rear axle and needed to be replaced asap, the day after I broke down I ordered the part and took it back to the garage, they started working on it immediately and in a couple of days the work was done. Went to get some side steps fit on my van. Initially i was told it will cost me 80-90 pounds . Then the van goes on ramp the mechanic was really good at what he did he did a good job . After everything was done i asked the price of the job. One of the guys said 250pounds . I was shocked and said that your owner said 80-90 pounds . While i was having this argument the guy arrives i confronted him and said you qouted me 80-90 pounds and ur mate is asking for 250 .. His answer was ohh i quoted 80-90 for eachside .. Obviously he was covering himself up i ended up paying 150pounds i only had 100 pounds in cash as i was quoted 80-90pounds for the and he made me transfer the 50 or the owner wont let me go . Be careful they are bunch of thieves would never ever use them again.Service: Body & Trim

Shocked today as I took my car to this garage. Firstly, I told them I had an oil leak their response was my car needed a service. Unfortunately, I left my car. Also I asked them to look at my water pump as I thought it was leaking the mechanic who quickly looked at it quickly said it was fine and there was no way the head gasket had gone as I told them there seemed to be oil in my water tank. Then I received a call to say my rear breaks need replacing there was no mention of a problem with my head gasket I even asked them again to look at my water pump. They called again to say the cost is 140 for rear brake pads and a service. So shocked when I turned up to be told my head gasket had gone and the best thing to do is to scrap the car. I do not understand why they did the brakes and service knowing the head gasket had gone and not even inform me of it. I would never have agreed to this work knowing this. I am a female and feel totally ripped off by this garage. Would never recommend this garage. Just had a call from Evans Halshaw thankfully they are knowledgeable. The mechanic said they conducted a compression test and the head gasket is fine and only needs a water tank costing about £40.00. Be careful taking advice from this garage and always get a second opinion.
Very honest garage with decent professional mechanics the workshop is well well equipped with many car ramps. usually quite busy But they can fit you in for small things like mots on the day. So try call in advance book your car inn. Bobby Who who is usually there is excellent at problem finding diagnostics on any car.
