Farm Boy is the best grocery store in Cornwall if you are looking for a more healthy food experience. It is smaller than the other chain stores but it's products are superior. It's produce is fresher and last longer than some of the other stores in the area. Their buffet is always full of great choices and even for the vegetarian and vegan pallets. Farm Boy is always my first choice for groceries.
Farmboy is a great place for bake goods, great deals on meat fresh or frozen. They have great deli too. You can go in get a ready to eat meal. You all should go in. The workers there a very nice. If you need something they will help you.Even the owner is there helping right along with his staff.
I love farmboy.nThey are a bit more expensive as a grocery store but their deli section beats independents for quality hands down.nThey also carry golden beets - which tend to be difficult to find in cornwall.nnThey have wicked fresh fish sales often.nnWho doesn’t love a make your own salad bar?nnThey will sometimes have free samples at the deli and cheese counters.nnThey have the nicest and cleanest washrooms of ANY grocery store in town.nnMy biggest complaint is that they stopped selling sunflower kitchen pesto in lieu of their own store brand.nSorry but your version does NOT compare to theirs. You lose an entire star for that because you were the only supplier here. I bought one every week when we lived in Toronto and you broke my heart when you suddenly stopped carrying it. nnStill highly recommend them for sales and specialty items - just not for a full shop if you are on a tight budget. You can get better deals on meat and produce at basics and frills 90% of the time.
It's a great grocery store. I just wish prices were a bit lower and a different variety of cooked food from time to time. I go there every week for about 8 years. Cashiers are very nice and friendly. The store is very clean as well.
Price point wise they are definitely higher than other grocery stores but you get what you pay for. I only buy my produce here - never had any issues with freshness. Thank you!
