Family Partners of Morris and Sussex Counties, Family Support Organization, is a private family led organization that provides support for families with
children who have special mental health, emotional or behavioral challenges.
Our Family Support Partners are parents and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral and/or mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance abuse and juvenile justice challenges. We provide intensive, individual support to families to make sure that the family voice is heard and the family vision is achieved.
We assist families during critical situations such as a hospitalization or entering a residential facility, appearing in court, school meetings and child family team meetings.
We engage families in the community helping them to identifying their strengths and building on those strengths to address their needs and goals.
To facilitate empowerment of parents and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges through a community-based, family centered, culturally competent system of support, education and advocacy.
