FaithWay Baptist Church is a place where you feel at home. I grew up at a different church and attended the Bible College that this church provides. The church family there is loving and supporting. Many families there took me and loved me as I was there own child. The atmosphere is kind and caring. They strive to serve the Lord and they train you for ministry. It has been a blessing to know the people of this congregation and to be able to say they are family! I made lasting friendships there. Even when I get to go back and visit, they welcome me with open arms.
Just another cult-like church, which is sad for me to say. I was a member of this church for several years and it was all about outward appearances. I think that having standards is wonderful, but superficiality is not. Additionally, the whole time I was there I could have used some spiritual guidance and just some nice friendship. I got neither.
And you say you are all christians. So let me put this to all you Christians, when you are telling others they have to be a member of your congregation to do something that is honorable to God, then you should do the work. I am also a member of a baptist church in down town Toronto, that I attend each and every Sunday, have been for over 25 years, but wanted to have my wedding in Durham as to not having my guest to travel the distance. I am shocked by the lack of support from your church which is the same Babpits. And you call yourselves CHRISTIANS. No wonder why people are leaving the church, because you are all hypocrites.
To God be the glory, amazing people of God, all be blessed. Love is in the house, God is love. I speak abundance of blessings into the ministry in Jesus name. Amen.
