Worst customer service I have had in a very long time. Calls are not returned on time or even same day! Finally processed a loan that was approved 3 days prior, electronic transfer doesn’t work so they issue a check and say to goto Scotia Bank where they have an agreement to cash it. No such agreement exists. Called them back and there is no other option. Avoid like the plague!

Horrible experience from start to finish!! None of the cheques I was given could be used at a bank bc they were all 3rd party cheques. I was told and sent a confirmation email about the date of the first payment and it was taken 2 weeks before the said date. I would NEVER recommend fairstone to anyone!!! So happy I was able to pay off the entire loan within a week of getting it bc of how awful this experience was and ill never have to deal with them again! If you need a loan, go to a bank not these people!!!!!
Courtney is absolutely amazing! She's really nice and tries her best to meet my financial needs. I've been dealing with her for a while now. Couldn't ask for a better place to help build my credit!
My experience with Deborah Dixon at Fairstone was absolutely amazing. I first spoke with Deb on the phone when I called to enquire about a loan after being denied by someone else. She was professional and friendly while explaining everything to me about my credit and what she could help me with. Once I met her in person I felt like I had know her for a long time. She helped me immensely after stressing for months and I will continue to use her services until I am debt free. Thanks Deb
Very easy to deal with and is a very useful crutch if you have no other options and in a pinch. Friendly staff, clean environment, etc!
I had to stop in to write a review. This is my 3rd time going to Fairstone in Membertou, Nova Scotia. I continue to request Courtney Mancini as my representative. I do so because she wastes no time. She gets right down to what you need and will go above and beyond to help you with it all. Once you build a reputation with them. They call to check up, make sure things are okay and if you need anything at all. If you have any questions at all or need reassurance they immediately clarify it. When you walk in all the staff looks up and smiles and welcomes you. It makes you feel more comfortable with the experience. Everyone is scared of high interest loans. From my experience I just made as many payments as I could and lump sums. Remember extra payments are interest free. So my loans are paid off quicker than usual. However they do have long term options to lower payments for you. Which is wonderful for people who are on a strict budget. Its a great option for people who are just establishing credit. You'll notice that your score will go up gradually. I found it hard for myself to find someone who would give me a chance. Yesterday I called with a question about getting a loan around 2pm and by 9pm lastnight my money was directly deposted into my account. No hassel. I highly recommend them and of course Courtney is my go to. I've built trust with her as my representative and I hope your experience will be just as great as mine. Thanks for everything!
