After Extreme came to do the assessment on the damage to my home, I was under the impression that I had found a great contractor to do the repairs. I then spent 9 months having my calls dodged as well as my messages and emails not replied to as I tried to find out WHEN they would begin. When I DID finally get a hold of someone I was told "in a couple weeks" only to have another month or more tick by without contact. When they eventually contacted me it was to inform me that they would be by "tomorrow". When I said I needed more notice than less than 24 hours to ensure someone was home only for it to go back to not hearing for extended lengths of time. We finally reached a date to have the work done and I was told it was required to pay 100% up front. I told them I was told from my insurance company to only pay 10% down but I would be willing to meet them in the middle at 50%. I was told this was against their company policy and they said I needed to now provide 80% or they would not complete the repairs. I again offered 50% since this saga had been drawn out by delays and poor communication to be told they would not do the work. I've worked residential and industrial construction for many years and this is not the way to schedule jobs or perform work. It shows complete disorganization and lack of customer service which from speaking to others in the community is a routine occurrence with this company. The experience was thoroughly disappointing from start to finish and still the work has not been completed. Based on how things went, I could only imagine the quality of work they would have performed had they have done it.
