The smell inside is intolerable. Everything looks extremely outdated, and way overpriced. The shoes are well worn except for a few newish ones which are almost retail. Total waste of time and I won’t be back! Gross experience
Excellent prices, so much to choose from, clothes all in excellent condition, friendly bright shopping environment!
Huge store with lots of clothes, bags, shoes and accessories. There's not that many brand name/boutique clothes, but there are a wide variety of styles and sizes. They have a few fitting rooms for you to try clothes. Staff are really friendly
No plus sizes at all, barely even XL! Their are designer brands that do carry those sizes. I left with just a pair of shoes as their were no suitable clothes, I would as a business attempt to make your store more size inclusive
Don't bring your consignment to this horrible place. It's a rip off. They accepted all 15 of my designer high end items. I bought $2 insurance for each item, not knowing that you still have to pay that amount whether your item sells or not. In the end, I ended up paying them $30 to consign my items because not one item sold! They priced their items too high, even I wouldn't pay for my own items at that price for used clothes. If you don't buy insurance, as my sister did, they will claim it got lost/stolen when she went to get her unsold items back. And what business closes at 5 pm daily as well as Wednesdays and Sundays? That doesn't even allow working people to shop.
I have to give it to them. They are pretty organized. The reason I’ve deducted 2 stars is because of a policy, I consider should be illegal. The Insurance Protection, they charge $2 per item and if you don’t pay this policy. They are not responsible for anything happens to your items. Even thought they already take 55% of the sale. In my opinion this should be already included in this percentage they already take. After living in Toronto for some time now. It is my opinion that this city has the most unfair, one-sided business practices I've ever seen. This is one of many. Update to this post. Deducted one more star. Today I called because I thought I had an appointment to drop of fall items. So I called to confirm the appointment. Turns out the appointment was another day. So she offers me a new one that same day. I call back because I remembered that the summer items I dropped of had to be picked up soon. So I call back to requests them. First, they question if I paid the $2 per item insurance? Then proceeded to explain...If I wanted them to find the item and put them aside for me; I had to pay for instance. If I didn't pay for the insurance I had to come to the store and find them myself. My jaw dropped and immediately request a cancellation of my fall drop off. I drove down from Newmarket with my 4 year old to collect my item. In the middle of finding my item I had to use the rest room. They wouldn't let me use it and sent me across the street to Tim Horton's. After I came back they started helped me collect them. I guess they wanted me out and I gladly went along with it. But this doesn't take away from these ridiculous policies. Your better of posting them on Poshmark.
They have great items and an awesome selection a bit disorganized. However the prices are way too high for used clothing even if it is higher end. There were a few things I would have bought if they were like $20 cheaper and I also dropped some clothes off, I got most things back but was shocked at how much they were listed for. Its very brand specific instead of the condition of the item. I love the concept as I’m trying to be more environmentally friendly, with a few changes this place could be wonderful!
The best! I have found the cutest clothes here, always at great prices : Staff are also so nice!! :
I would rate this store closer to a 2.5 than a 2 however it will not let me do half stars. Consignment review: I won't bother again, I just found out one of my items was in storage the whole consignment period because they decided to reject the item after previously accepting it. My other item was crammed on the overcrowded racks I find other stores do a better job with display. As a shopper- it is better as a shopper, however they appear to value brand significantly more than quality so I often find ratty/poor quality items among the rack. If you take time to go through the racks you can find something nice though!
Great quality clothing! Great selection! But they way they put the tags on the clothing is very unprofessional and disorderly. For example, on the shoes, some tags say the sizes in European standards, others in US, and others simply in small or medium or large. The prices are also very high. For example, I found a pair of Prada shoes. Very worn our and very dirty not even cleaned of dirt and the price was still over 300$. Otherwise, very nice place to check out clothes!
