Had our wedding reception here and throughout the entire planning process the team has been friendly, accommodating, reliable and helpful. The price packages for a wedding reception for dinner here is a good deal compared to what other hotels offer and it also includes a stay at the honeymoon suite if you spend a certain amount. During our party the staff were very attentive and took care of our guests whenever an accidental spill was made on the dance floor or when a plate needed to be taken off the dining table. The location is pretty convenient and close to the sky train. If your looking for a venue to host your party I would definitely book it here. Thanks everyone at executive suites for hotel for making our wedding reception memorable! Until next time
I did not stay at this hotel, my spouse did. But I was given excellent customer service from across the country nonetheless. I contacted the front desk to see if they would assist me and be willing to accommodate a surprise delivery to my spouse’s room during his stay, which they happily agreed to. I am thankful for this, given the hotel already offers packages like alcohol or fruit as service upgrades they could’ve easily said no. I decided to order a charcuterie box from The Graze Company which is local to the area. The front desk accepted the delivery while my spouse was out and about exploring the mountains. He did not return to his room around the time I initially expected, but late at night. I was worried the box wouldn’t have made it to him or the food would have spoiled. This was not the case. The delivery was made to his room, served with a platter and silverware, and a hand written note with the time of delivery and instructions to find the box in the fridge. It seems simple and not a big deal I’m sure to most, but these little gestures and accommodations are really what makes for great service. If anyone is interested in these charcuterie boxes or trays, look up the Graze Company too- it was a beautiful spread. Thank you to Alex who I corresponded and planned with over email and to Johnathan who delivered and set up the surprise so nicely. Your service was much appreciated.
We are here with family, booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Asked for a non-dairy option at breakfast and was told that ‘no we don’t have it because mostly people don’t have allergies’. Also the restaurant manager on duty at breakfast rudely and loudly stated ‘don’t panic’! Are you telling me you cannot keep a shelf stable low cost option available for people with dairy intolerance?! As for the managers option, no one has even attempted to apologise or offer to have an option available for tomorrow. Do not eat or stay here if you have allergies, the staff here do not take this seriously.
It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, yet my experience at the Executive Suites Hotel was atrocious and unacceptable. Upon check in, the room we were given was very dirty; the sofa bed was soiled with hair and crumbs and there was a green grease like substance running down the door and pooling on the floor. We were told that there was no one from housekeeping on premises at nighttime so that we would need to move rooms, which we did. The new room was more spacious and very clean. Upon getting in bed it became very clear that the mattress was dated. It had a large divot in the middle and many of the springs were protruding and making it impossible to find a comfortable position. After a sleepless night, I spoke with the front desk who was apologetic and sent maintenance and housekeeping to see what they could do. Both were appalled at the shape of the mattress. They said they could add a foam topper to help which they did, but it was for a queen sized bed thus not providing full coverage for the king we had. They suggested speaking with the manager when he arrived later in the day.nnJonathan, the manager, provided the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, making a bad situation unacceptable. He told me he had never had a complaint and that therefore it was not possible to have a problem with the mattress. He said that he would need to do an investigation since they have never had a problem. He said he was under the impression everything had been fixed with the topper and there was no reason I should have an issue which made no sense because not only did the topper not fit the bed but I hadn't even been back to the room to lay down on it to test it. I invited him to come and look at the bed himself. I showed him a picture of the divot and he insisted I just ruffled sheets to look the way it did. I explained that I did not appreciate the implication that I was a liar and again invited him to come see for himself, which he refused. He never apologized other than saying he was sorry I felt upset, nor did he offer to help remedy the situation in anyway.nnIf you are looking for a place to stay that has a comfortable bed that is flat and does not have springs in your back, or looking for a place with any amount of customer service....do yourself a favor and stay far away from here!
This place is a hidden gem!!! My partner and I found it purely by chance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and very clean, the pool and outdoor hot tub are simply wonderful! The restaurant in the lobby is cozy and sophisticated with a great atmosphere and live music! Definitely worth a stay!
