Evergreen Trails Campgrounds

My wife and I spent Fathers Day weekend at this campground for the first time. As they say, "First impressions are everything!" This experience left you wanting more! First off, the owners are kind, friendly, approachable and attentive to your needs. Second, the seasonal campers and others are the friendliest I have ever come across in any campground. The sites are clean and spread out. The amount of pride that everyone has at the campground is easily seen through how well they take care of their own "slice of heaven". Third, if you have camped at a lot of campgrounds you know that the bathrooms can be an issue. Having a pop up trailer for me and especially my wife means a clean bathroom/shower is a must. This is the first campground that has ever exceeded expectations. Hot water, private showers, and clean toilets! Finally, the scenery!!! The campground is great if you like the woods. No traffic noise, just birds, bull frogs, and the breeze. The surrounding area is wonderful with rolling hills, many small towns to visit and explore and parks and activities to fish, hike or just sit and relax. For me this campground had everything I was looking for. A place that was clean, friendly and well taken care of. A place that lets you determine how involved in things you want to be. A location that was a perfect "base camp" for many surrounding activities through out the region. A campground that is large enough to give you the space you need but small enough to know your name. The only place we camp!!! - been camping here for many years. This place never gets old. Friendly owners, very clean & always a great time.

Excellent experience. Definitely don't believe the negative reviews on here, they aren't accurate. The campground and cabins here are VERY well maintained. The owners are outstanding people, and the scenery unbeatable. My wife and I got a cabin up here to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life and you can't beat the peace and quiet here. The campgrounds are super clean and well maintained and it's a safe and relaxing atmosphere. I'm so glad we made the trip out, and we will definitely be back again and recommend this place to everyone we know looking for a great place to getaway and be surrounded in nature. This is a great place to get away from the world. New cabins and great locations to visit nearby. Angelica is a historical town with small shops.
