Gross run down looks like they moved it from wealthy st in Grand Rapids the pictures make it look a lot better stains in the carpet holes in the walls peeling wall paper who even uses wallpaper now? House keeping was acting weird. My heat was not working and maintenance basically said not my problem this use to be an amazing place what happened? And curlys is open when they want to be I just wanted a burger and beer. I will say some of the painted stuff around the resort such as back stairway and stair way by Scotch pine look nice and the pool and sauna where the best part of my stay
Evergreen is Very outdated and rundown there is stains in the carpet there’s a lot of plumbing issues front desk was friendly I requested maintenance because my fridge was not getting cold and they never showed up. Curlys is very expensive. The golf course would have been great but it’s very over grown. The pool and hot tub are really dirty lots of sand in them. Bathrooms throughout the resort had urine on the back of the toilet and on the seat like nobody had cleaned them.
Dated. Needs upgrades and better efforts for access. Good continental breakfast. Nice pool area, but closes too early. Worked for the need of a night's rest overall.
Celebrated Father's Day with the Family. The guys said the Golf Course was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms need to be updated. Nice location. Close to many places to eat and shop. With some updating I would have given 5 stars,
We were directed to a separate building. Along the wall of the hallway there were several blunted holes and drywall dust on the floor. First impression of the room was the smell. They left "odor eliminators" next to the door and one hidden under the AC unit. In my sheets there was a dead spider caked onto the sheet which was basically the line for me. I took a shower and there was no hot water, it practically could double as a walk in freezer. The staff are lovely and the food is great but the rooms have a long way to go. I will not be visiting Evergreen again anytime soon.
We just finished a two-night stay & play package and our group was very happy. First, the hotel staff, food, and room was awesome. Very comfortable bedding was much appreciated after a few days of busy golf. Curlys bar was good bar food with very fun & attentive staff. The hot breakfast buffet each morning was also quite good. The golf courses could use a little work but we were overall very pleased and will be back!
The entire place inside and out needs a major facelift. Outside grounds are overgrown and flower beds not pleasing to the eye. The entrance ways on the side of building need to have their steps painted yellow to warn and prevent tripping. Outside doors are rusted from top to bottom. Inside the hotel is no better. Carpet is worn and outdated. Major paint chips thru out the hotel. The toilets in the rooms are so low that you feel like it’s made for a child. Ceiling tiles in our room were stained with old water leaks. I could go on but I think you get the picture. Don’t bother staying.
I wish I could give this a better review but sadly it merits only the maybe 2 stars I've given. Staff is amicable enough. Unfortunately I could only book a room for the one night due to booking conflicts. The night we did stay the bar was unfortunately closed. This is apparently normal for their business hours. However this is not the beginning of our misfortune, no. We paid $185 for a jacuzzi suite with a walkout patio which is alittle high but ok. We get to our room and even though 3 housekeepers left their "this room is cleaned" there were still stains and hair in the bed coverings. No matter how comfortable the bed that is not what you wanna see for that price especially on my anniversary with my husband! The ceiling was peeling in MULTIPLE areas along with a huge water stain from the floor above. The jacuzzi tub while big enough for two people was again COVERED in fuzzy dust and hair including some suspicious curlies as well as being cracked along the bottom. We had to clean it out before it was usable and the "air bubble" system did not even work!! The walkout patio was a sad weather worn unenclosed deck with the most minimal outdoor furniture. Your neighbors patio is separated by 5ft of fencing that is otherwise open to each other. Oh and by the way the neighbor patio is conveniently located right outside your bedroom window. The patio sliding door was covered in greasy kid hand prints. The pool was hallways upon hallways away from my room and not a working vending machine in the building to be found. This was the most disappointing experience of my life. We paid top dollar on our anniversary for a room that was available only for 1 night! I cannot believe how underwhelming this "3 star" hotel is.
Nice place. Used group golfer discount and was well worth the investment. Restaurant bar and grill on site within walking distance. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food in restaurant was reasonably priced and good. Bartender was very entertaining and full of information about the surrounding area and events. Will definitely be back again.
Golf course was in terrible shape, greens were smooth But uncut and soaked from the dew. Slowest greens I may have ever been on. Room was musty smelling and tv remote didn't work. Golf course was all weeds and couldn't tell the fairways from the rough. Very disappointing
